I am giving these guys two stars, not because of the food, but because of the horrible (and I mean HORRIBLE!) service. The food is actually quite good, which is why I was so disappointed that the service failed so miserably. The restaurant was not crowded (only 5 active tables) and there were at least 4 servers in the restaurant... More

Lovely evening. We had a fabulous time at Sufi's tonight. The food was excellent, the drinks well made and the service attentive. We both had the specials. I enjoyed the chicken kabob with barberry rice and my husband had the lamb shank. Both were excellently flavorful and delicious. Overall, it was a great visit.

Persian restaurants are difficult to find and good ones are even rarer. We were taken to Sufi by friends from Iran so our experience might not be typical. We ended up spending almost 2.5 hours there for lunch. I highly recommend the stews, but everything we had was excellent.

Instead of eating the normal routine, we wanted something different. This was unique but very good...! We had their house Sufi's special appetizer that was amazing. Top it off, wife usually doesn't eat different meats, but tried the lamb chops... another amazing choice... In a busy city... nice to slow down... and enjoy a glass of wine...!

Made a reservation on Friday for Saturday night for 19 people to sit outside on the patio. However, once Saturday came around, the weather was much colder, so I called early that day and I asked if we could move the reservation indoors. I was assured that it was possible and that they would do it. Once we show up,... More

There is nothing more fun than experiencing food from other cultures, especially when it is done in surroundings as pleasant as Sufi's. Serving Persian cuisine, I have been any number of times and am delighted every time by the unique touches that say "Persian" cuisine to me - like the small plate of savories served pro forma like we serve... This was my second visit to Sufi's, and while my dining partners' food was really good, mine was just so-so. The falafel and the mirza ghasemi (smoked eggplant dip) we shared were very good. My husband had the special mixed kebab (very good), our friend had the chicken kabob salad (very good), and I had the Sufi's stew, which was... More

The food is Great but not the best Persian food in the area. You must try it and compare it to other places.

I have tried persian food all over the world including Iran, and rate this place in top 5%. The ambience, meat quality, and taste of spices are excellent. This place is as close to authentic persian food as you can get in North America. We tried, Barg, Koobide, Jooje, and Mirza Ghasemi. All were prepared well. The service was also... More
