We come from Detroit, an area of excellent middle eastern cuisine. This is nowhere close. The zaatar was not fresh at all and not sure what kind of cheese they were using for our zaatar/cheese pie. The spinach pie was pretty tasty though. The chicken skewers were ok but kind of small and a bit dry. The pita bread for sale was still cold from the freezer. Maybe this place just buys stuff and resells it and passes it off as their own? I even noticed the pastries were from Shatila bakery in the Detroit area. Owners, if you are not originally from the Detroit area, please please come and work in one of the bakeries there and learn how to get the cheese pies and zaatar pies prepared and sold very quickly and very fresh to the customer.

The wonderful women behind the counter took such good care of us. We were torn on which beef item to choose because this was our first time going. She suggested we try the combo and the beef shawarma. So we ordered the combo Kaft and shishgabob with egg plant side and the beef shawarma plate with hummus spread. It was soooo good. And the baklava was the best my wife has ever had!

We were working nearby and was searching for a place to have lunch. Upon arriving, the restaurant was busy with patrons who were eating lunch and patrons that were shopping inside the store.
I had the #1 meal and my coworker had the Greek salad with chunks. Our meals were prepared in a timely manner and both meals were very good.
The staff here was very friendly. If given an opportunity to eat here again, we will.

For years, this was our “go to “consistently good food source. But we noticed it getting less appealing as chicken swarms was getting dry on several visits and even the chicken kabobs we could always count on to be juicy became dry too. Not just once either. It seems the quality control on the cooking has gone away. So have we

Excellent cafe for authentic Lebanese cuisine. Great for a quick bite at lunch time. Not suitable for evening meal as cafe quite basic. Excellent tabouleh and hummus. Great kebabs and bread.

Delicious and Fresh! Easy to run in and order on the spot! Fast service and we like to take it home. My husband was amazed it has been in our area and we had not tried it sooner.

This was my first time here and i thought my lunch was ok—good. I’ll try again because the reviews are so good and the place feels like a hidden gem, but I was not blown away by the lamb kabob sandwich nor the pita and tzatziki. I prefer my tzatziki without chunks of cucumbers in it, and it wasn’t as garlicky as i like—just a personal preference. The chicken and lamb on the spit behind the counter looks very good.
Next time I’ll try the chicken shawarma which sounds and looks very good. Neat store attached to the small restaurant.

I discovered this place soon after moving out by spaghetti junction... I visit about 2-3 times per week. The food is always fresh and tasty. I normally get either the chicken or beef shawarma, with baba ghanough and tabouleh. I've never had a bad meal here, and the attached grocery store carries a lot of interesting and great items, also...

We were traveling through Atlanta at rush hour and decided to get dinner in the hopes that traffic would get better. We just took the first exit and turned into one of the first shopping centers. We saw the Mediterranean Bakery and Sandwich and gave it a try.
We arrived at 5pm and the place was almost empty but as we ordered and got our food it started to fill up. I chose a plate with chicken shawarma, hummus and tabouli. All of it was fabulous. The chicken shawarma was moist with a smokey flavor and came with a delicious creamy garlic sauce. The tabouli and hummus both were very good also. You don't come here for the atmosphere as it is part grocery store and cafe. Your food is served on styrofoam plates. The point here is the food, it is really flavorful! Service was very low key and friendly. We can't wait until we are back in Atlanta to eat there again.

I've had such a craving for mediteranian food. Last week I tried another establishment of a different name and the food was horrible. I realized if I want good mediteranian food I would have to take the drive to the mediteranian bakery off chamblee tucker rd. In Atlanta. The there is absolutely the best. Everything I try is tops and this is truly Lebanese food. The beef shawarma is seasoned perfect , the falafel are cooked to perfection and taste is perfect. The greek salad is so good with plenty of tasty feta cheese. The kabobs are so excellent along with the best tasting tahini sauce for dipping and fantastic garlic spread for dipping the chicken kabobs. There's just no match or even coming close to the food in this place. For the best REAL mediteranian food there's no other choice. Take the ride for this place. You'll wish you took home another plate. Man O Man this is great food !!
Mediterranean bakery off chamblee tucker rd. Atlanta Ga. Just no match to this establishment !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!!

When we are in the mood for Middle Eastern fare, this is our first choice. It's family-run, authentic, tasty and reasonably priced. You'll get enough for one big meal or two smaller meals. And the baklava is great. There's also a little grocery in the business where you can pick up everything from olives from the Middle East to chocolate from Germany.

I was really looking for a pizza place nearby, which turned out to smell bad, so I left. I accidentally walked into this grocery store-looking place, which serves hot food. This is the best lunch I've had in a long time! The flavor pallet of the chicken kabob plate was just amazing! The portion was large. Soooo happy!

It's a small store in a strip mall but it has great heart, exceptional food, and the people are very nice. Prices are reasonable and you will get some of the healthiest food available in the city.
About 1/3 of the store space is a well stocked retail grocery with foods from the Mediterranean area and a few hookahs.

Just love this place. We have been here many times. Eaten in, picked up to go, and purchased for a party. Always perfect. Our last visit we had the chicken kabob plate that came with two sides. We picked the tabouli and Greek salad. It was served with rice on a bit of slaw. Only thing next time would be "no slaw please!". We also ordered a side of taziiki sauce. The chicken was so moist and the flavor was wonderful. The tabouli is delicious as always. Then there was the Greek Salad. The dressing was very tasty. We had some left overs and packed them up. But then bought a dozen of their kibbie which comes frozen and a large Zatar pie. Oh what wonderful tastes. In the past we have brought home some falafel mix and just add water and fry...they come out perfect. Can't recommend this place enough. Now there is no atmosphere. It is a grocery store with a counter full of beautiful food. Service is great and it is always clean.
