Vegetarians will be pleased...fully

We have ordered the vegetarian plate for two. Every course of it was excellent - eggplant in tomatoes, local white cheese, salad, stuffed peppers, bread, grilled local vegetables and tasty olive oil. Local does not serve alcohol because it is Muslim but still perfect!

This restaurant is a place you must visit when you come to Bar. Believe me, when you step into the restaurant, you will feel a pleasant and warm welcome. I have the best to say for the guys who work Emil and Emin, but also for the rest of the staff. The food is excellent, they have a wonderful menu, and they also offer a few dishes that are prepared in the traditional way, and that's something that sets them apart from the rest. The coffee is also excellent, whether you want to drink Turkish coffee or espresso coffee, you won't go wrong with the choice. And yes, at the end you have to try the best dessert served in this restaurant.

We were absolutly amazed by the place and the quality of the food. Kaldrma restaurant offers a pleasent experience while you can taste the traditional food which is delicious. Everything was just perfect, the cocktails, the food. I would recommend Kaldrma for everyone.

Suposed to be a nice romantic dinner in quite cute place. Chossen on TP high rating. Small annoyances with waitress started already with the ordering of wine. Wife says, we are on vacation, relax and enjoy. We pointed out that we want to enjoy and that there should be a break between courses. We order 5 course fish taste menu (2 plates no trace of fish: salad and cheese), of which 3 courses were served at the same time in 5 min and we were asked to eat quick because other 2 are already waitting, but table was too small. Again we asked to make brake between courses. After 2 min a men (later he introduced him as owner) approached with other 2 courses and asked to make space on the table. That time we asked for the bill to pay and an argument started. A lot of exuces from him, mostly BS. FYI, half of table were empty. I`m guessing the food is prepared in advance. I am 100% sure they want you to leave you in 10 min. Definitely this is not a restaurant for gourmets. Unfortunately I didn't even get a chance to taste the food because it all happened so quickly. So, I can't rate the food. We continued the evening in another restaurant.

Thank you for taking time to write this review. We are sorry that you had a negative experience. We consider guest feedback to be very valuable and therfore we did discuss your specifc case with our whole staff and we pledged to improve on any of the areas where we might improve. On the other hand there are actions that made us proud of our employees and the owner. We did explain you that our traditional fish menu for 2 person is served according to our tradition. Hence the name “traditional”. According to tradition the salad and the cheese are the first course and they are served together with our extra Virgin Olive oil to start the dinner. That was only the first course and not the two courses as you stated in the review. After the first course the plate that the owner brought was the second course consisted of grilled octopus, calamari and prawns. And it was only the second course not the other two courses as you also mentioned in the review. Furthermore we are proud of our owner that after your complaints and request for the bill did not charge you for the food or the bottle of rose wine that you opened because we work very hard on providing excellece as you could read in the rest of the reviews and not only make profit and we for sure do not want our guest to leave as soon as possible. Once again we are sorry that you had a negative experience but we think that if you stayed for the food and trusted the process and our chef you would be as satisfied as the rest of our clients and reviewrs. Wonderful experience, perfect food and kind service. When we came yesterday, the chefs Dino and his assistant Nuri reccomended "tasting meat menu", consisting of 5 courses - one better than the other. We enjoyed the food, warmth of place and staff's hospitality. We have decided to come back today and taste the "fish tasting menu". The food was beyond the expectations. What to reccomend? Simply, everything is exquisite. They use the best quality olive oil from their own production, selection of domestic cheeses, freshly squeezed juice from their own freshly harvested pomgranades. Vegetables, meat, fish are fresh and prepared on special family receipts. We are 10 persons, and we all agree that this is the best restaurant experience in Montenegro. I will come back to Bar just because of KALDRMA.

Must visit if you are in Stari Bar. Outdoes many Michelin Star restaurants at a fraction of the price.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. The setting was magical and extremely romantic and our memories of the delicious food will last a lifetime. Less than 50€ for an outstanding 5 course meat and vegetable tasting menu for 2 was mind blowing and the pomegranate juice was delicious too. The waiters were also lovely, much nicer than we experienced around Kotor and Perast. You simply must visit this place if you are staying near by or stopping off to explore the Stari Grad.

We had an absolutely delucious dinner at Kadrma. The serving and the witers were really friendly. We were there with our two Kiss, they had pasta with mész and cheese, we had a fish plate for two with 5 courses including squids, octopus, fish, calamari, salad and cheese, and desserts. It was more than enough for dinner, and amazing! Thank you for this dinner!😁

Excellent food in a really nice venue!

Amazing food! We took the vegetarian testing menu with the slow cooked lamb on top of it : everything was excellent! Very very nice venue on the terrace of the restaurant, right next to walls of the old town. Friendly and helpful staff. Don't miss this restaurant.

This place have good food and highly profesional staff. Food was excelent. You have to try domestic juice with pomergranade and orange. Prices were just ok. Great place to visit in Old Bar.

Excellent, cheap and very tasty. The meat was just amazing. At the end we asked to take away what we left. They added two dessert and a bottle of water for free. Ther waiter was always smiling and helpful .

Finest restaurant with great relaxing ambiance

We ate here three times. Best, finest flavors and taste. You taste the time, attention and passion of food. Great and friendly staff. For us this was by far best restaurant in town. And has also really nice seating with high sealing and grapes growing on the walls.

Great food and atmosphere

Had the grilled squid, was absolutely great. As well as the house cocktail, also indulged myself with a baklava as dessert. Has been the best meal that I've had so far in Montenegro- have been here for a week. The place has an easy going vibe, the staff was friendly but not overwhelming- which I love it, also liked the decoration. Is a must visit place if you are in Bar.

Very good, cute terrace, excellent service

Great spot with a group of 14 of us. Excellent service and selection of food. I must say the waiter was very charming and attentive. They went out of their way to accommodate us on the roof terrace. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
