Wife and I ate there last week. Very very good. I got chicken pot pie and onion rings. Wife got chicken sandwich with bacon. Both were extremely good. We both got the salad bar as a side also. Very good as well. Had trouble ordering...More

I have been going to Strawberry Street Cafe for 11 years, but probably won't return. My last visit was in Father's Day. It took over 45 mins to get our food after ordering. Our waiter keep saying, "it's almost ready", but it wasn't. When our...More

Sadly, I have to give this place an average review. I used the restroom when I arrived and was appalled by how filthy it was. There was sticky residue all over the garbage can and the walls haven't been wiped down in a long time....More

Went here with another couple to enjoy Sunday brunch on a rainy day. Parking wasn't plentiful, but I found a spot about a block away after dropping off the rest of the party. We all opted for the brunch, and no one went away hungry....More

I had the triple decker club with a bowl of crab soup. The crab soup was out of this world. The sandwich was pretty good. Their famous salad bar is huge.

I say that because it was very crowded, but we were seated immediately in the front near the window. A friend of mine from Richmond first took me to this place several years ago. This visit was myself & my husband. He had a crab...More

Excellent. When we arrived, shortly after the VCU graduation, the place was only about half full. It got busier as we were winding down but the waitress and staff were super attentive and helpful. They even assembled a graduation dessert surprise for my sister. The...More

The food was good, but not great. My husband thought the chicken pot pie was too thick. The salad bar was great, but the hot breakfast items were hit or miss (i.e. biscuits burned). Also, the salad bar was up kind of high, and it...More

Here at Strawberry Street Cafe, we have been providing great food and service in an inviting, casual atmosphere since 1976. Located in the Historic Fan District, we are only about a ten minute drive from the Landmark Theatre and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. What we are best known for is our famous salad bar, which is actually situated in an old-fashioned bathtub and filled with fresh vegetables, fruits, prepared salads and homemade soups. The menu includes such specialties as Maryland Crabcakes, Pasta Jambalaya, Homemade Chicken Pot Pie, and Spinach Lasagna.
