Tastes like you are in your Uncle's backyard. Best babyback ribs, best baked beans and slaw. May take a bit to get your food, but they are always working on improving the service. Certainly worth the wait. Have enjoyed eating there for years. Husband always enjoys their sandwiches. Sides are always on point.

Tasha took our order and gave us great service. The food was top notch. Took about 30 mins to get our food. But it was worth the wait. The ribs were top notch.

This is a must for anyone visiting Richmond. Highly recommend the spare ribs, very meaty and flavorful.

They will proudly tell you that they sent Bobby Flay back to NYC with his Yankee tail tuckeb between his legs. The BBQ is authentic smoked and finished on the fire. I love the BabyBacks but the chicke and the Brisket are fab as well. Don't miss the cuc salad but all the sides are great. This is a don't... More

I'm from Texas and I am not going to get in to an argument about where the best BBQ is, but lets just say Texans are particular about our BBQ. This is really good BBQ, nice smoke ring and some great sauce. All the sides we had were really go also.

BBQ was definitely on our radar during our trip below the Mason-Dixon. Buz and Ned's was recommended by so many, so we gave it a shot. Hubby had the sparerib dinner while I enjoyed the brisket sandwich. The meat was very tender, with a good smoky flavor. The brisket comes unsauced, and I decided to keep it that way to... More

We were tired after a long day of sightseeing and thought we would just stop at a restaurant by the hotel. Lucky for us Buz & Ned's was by our hotel. It is a fun atmosphere, very casual. We saw lots of families there so we know it's good for people with kids. The bar looked like a lot of... More

This really is a seriously good place for bar-b-que. There are two locations now (newest on West Broad) the original opened 25 years ago. Something of a hole-in -the wall and that's the look and feel they are going for. It's all about the food. Pulled port was fabulous. If you are into bourbons they have lots of varieties. A... More

We visited this great place on a Friday at lunchtime. It was packed, but the wait wasn't too long. The food was well worth the wait, especially the beef ribs. You can normally get pork ribs anywhere, but these beef ribs were truly a delicacy. All the sides were good and fairly generous portions. These were the best beef ribs... More

Decided to eat here based on the recommendation of a friend and had some really good bbq. The atmosphere was laid back and easy. It was suitable for families and adults enjoying a night out. My only complaint is that our group made our orders one after the other but it took 30 minutes more for the last person in... More

Description
While Buz has been dishing real barbecue in Richmond since 1992, our first brick-and-mortar location on Boulevard opened in 1995. We've also had the honor and privilege of being featured on some of television's top food shows. We are thankful to our loyal fan base that keeps coming back year-after-year. We opened our Broad St. location in 2012 and we look forward to bringing the same barbecue tradition to the West End.
