I'll start by saying this place is small and what I consider to be a "hole in a wall." There is not a ton of seating. We were promptly seated. The food was soooo good! We had fried oysters for our appetizer and they were...More

We visited the restaurant with a group of friends. Ordering was a bit overwhelming and food came out at very different times. I was done with my meal before my husband received his. Other than this issue, the food was great. I had the fried...More

Our first visit and we will definitely return. Service was a bit slow and disappointing at first but improved as the meal went on. My husband enjoyed his LA Louisiana cocktail and the classic jambalaya which was chock full of seafood and meat. My gator...More

I don't like cajun anything, at all. HOWEVER - I came to visit Lady N'awlins for the first time this past week and let's just say it wasn't my last time. Oysters? I greatly dislike. HOWEVER - I had them twice this week. Every 'cajun'...More

Friends recommended I'd try this place because I was on the hunt for some rather tasty Shrimp & Grits. I was definitely not disappointed!!! Everything was great! The food, the drinks, and the service. Upon entering the establishment, it appeared to be just a cool,...More

This popular restaurant/bar in Richmond's historic Fan District is known for their Cajun/creole menu. I've ordered their fried oysters before and thought they were quite good. However, this week we visited and I ordered the Oyster Trio as an appetizer and what a disappointment. I...More

Lady Nawlins is a typical bar with chalk art on the ceiling and small booths. The reason I will be going back is because they have great beers on tap and amazing food inspired by New Orleans! Bacon wrapped plantains, oysters Rockefeller, shrimp and grits...no...More

We loved the food here! It seems to be a popular watering hole in an area of many places. We were able to still get a glass of wine just under the happy hour price and it was a nice size pour. They brought out...More

The restaurant is just below street level and small, so it's somewhat dark and intimate. Brick walls as I recall. Not really upscale looking or anything. A bar takes up most of the interior space.
