Got take out lunch - fast service. Food was fresh and delicious. Definitely authentic Greek cuisine made with fresh ingredients. Only dish we didn’t care for were the Greek fries- they ended up being just a soggy mess. Falafel hummus wrap was great and the...Greek salad was delicious as well. The spanakopita could have used some more feta cheese but overall we liked it.More

I'm going to start my review by saying that I am Greek and I know Greek food. Regardless of this, I'm ashamed to say that this place is run by Greek folks and they present what we ordered yesterday as food to actual customers -...when not even a dog would eat this food. We ordered the Gyro platter, the Gyro grilled chicken sandwich and Grilled skewers with french fries for the kids. None of these were supposed to have tzatziki on them, which we mentioned on the phone. Our order was pick up . Once we brought the food home and opened the containers we were disgusted. The salad looked like it was days old with dressing that had turned the lettuce brown. The french fries were brown like they had been fried in really bad/overused oil - and smelled like it too. The gyro was not gyro. I'm not sure what animal meat that was - but please don't fool people who don't know Greek food. The chicken was so tough that we could not eat it. And finally, the gyro sandwich had tzatziki with parsley and dill in it. Not only will we never order from there again, but will strongly discourage others not to as well. Forty dollars gone to waste.More

We drove 30 minutes to Cambridge, because my daughter was really craving gyros and my brother-in-law said this place was good. This clean corner restaurant, staffed by a tiny energetic lady who told tragic stories as if they were grand adventures, served some of the...best baklava I have ever tasted in the US. I have had baklava in Greece and Turkey and at one of my old jobs, a coworker's mom made baklava every Christmas as a gift for us. The baklava at Greek Corner was excellent. It wasn't too sweet or syrupy. The phyllo was clearly fresh. The flavors were beautifully balanced. We also ordered a traditional gyro, greek fries, chicken gyro and rice pudding. My daughter's gyro was solidly good. Her only issue was that there was too much meat. She gave me some. Which is good, because the chicken in my gyro was a bit dry and I appreciated her much tastier filling. The greek fries were tasty and the ride pudding was also very good. I am originally from the south so take my rice pudding seriously. The generous portion of cinnamon was perfect and the pudding was the right consistency. Overall, very excellent meal with great service!More

We used to live across Mass Ave from the Greek Corner, now we’re 30 miles away, and wow do we miss this place. We drove 30 miles out of our way last night to get takeout, and it was well worth it. Everything was absolutely...delicious. We had Gyros, Souvlaki Plates, steak kabob, and the lemon drop soup. Everything was prepared to perfection! Takeout is not our favorite, but at the Greek Corner, it made us want to go back again, and again. Even the takeout containers are top notch. Nothing was soggy, or even cold after 45 miles in the car. If you want delicious Greek food, get there any way you can!More

This is my husband and my’s go-to for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Their gyros and tzatziki are to die for!! The owners and staff are friendly and the food and atmosphere is so comforting. We loved them so much, that we actually had them cater...our wedding this past August!! Their prices are super reasonable and again, the food is SO GOOD.More

It's right on Massachusetts Avenue, but north of the hubbub of Harvard Square. There is a bright, sunny mural on the wall that reminded us of our trip last year to Greece. The service was very pleasant and efficient, and the food was good. We...ordered an appetizer platter for two, with a nice assortment of Greek goodies, from feta to spanakopita to caviar, all very good. I ordered the baked lamb shank in red sauce. It was ample but not ridiculous, very tender and tasty. It came with rice and a small salad, so it was more than enough. My wife had the lamb skewer. The portion was very generous, but it was so tasty that she ate every bite. We were glad to have found this place. As they told us when we called for reservations (which they don't take), the place is almost empty at 5 PM, but is filled by 6.More

We were hoping this would be a great go-to restaurant for Greek food which we love, but we were disappointed. We ordered Dolmathes as an appetizer, but they never came out until after our entrees were delivered. They were ice cold, not just cool and...didn't live up to others I'd had elsewhere. We ordered Moussaka with french fries and Lamb Souvlaki with rice pilaf. The Moussaka was cold, definitely not heated enough, and nothing to rave about. The fries weren't worth getting. The Lamb and rice was delicious. Both dishes were served with salad which was very good. Prices are reasonable. There was only one server taking care of 15 tables. I don't know if the Moussaka sat for a long time before serving it or it just didn't get adequate heating. It could also explain why we never got our appetizer until too late. We told a woman on the way out that the meal was served too cold and she made it our responsibility by telling us we should have sent it back. I think it should be served right to begin with and it isn't enjoyable to have to send back a meal.More

The meats and sauces at this place were delicious. Prices very reasonable. Comfortable, casual place. The only complaints we had was that the Greek fries were only okay, and that the restaurant was a little cold (on a cold winter night). Parking was not easy...but we did find close on street parking. In the future, we will just not order fries, and sit far from the door and windows (it it's cold out). I have been looking for a really good Greek restaurant ever since Andros Diner in Belmont closed a few years ago. This will now be our regular Greek restaurant. I can't wait to go again.More

My husband and I love Greek Corner. We go to Greece every year and are pretty familiar with good Greek cooking. Greek Corner is not a gastronomic restaurant, it is great value for money, welcoming, home-y, very tasty food, they type of place you are...so happy to have in your neighborhood. Standouts for us are the avogolemo soup, the lamb kebab, the grilled lamb or chicken souvlaki, and the chicken kebab. We have also enjoyed the baked lamb (a big lamb shank) the felaffel and the swordfish kebab. Definitely recommend this local restaurant and its friendly servers.More
