We were in town staying in a local hotel to watch some ball games. We decided to walk to the Courtside for some cold beer and food. It is a classic dive bar with red lights and everything. The beer was cold and pizza hot and good. Karaoke started at 9:00 and it seemed to be a local crowd singing.... More

A unique social experience is the best way to describe courtside. I certainly would not classify it as anything other than a dive bar, but on the plus side they had dive bar prices. The age range of the crowd was extreme, and there was a crowd. I had gone for Karaoke, which was supposed to start at 9 I... More

I describe this place as half bingo hall, half VFW hall. Some of the booths are lined in carpet, there are TVs everywhere and you can get a pitcher of PBR with a large cheese pizza for $16.75. There is never a homogenous crowd here and it never has the feel of any other bar in the Inman Square area.... More

Called in here for a few pre dinner beers. However we decided to stay for food as the place was very friendly and the menu looked ok? The food was good, solid hearty food - just what you'd expect in a 'pub' not a restaurant. There are a number of TV's for viewing sport. We stayed for the Karaoke -... More

Courtside is one of the diviest karaoke bars around. However, it can usually be an amazing night out. It can get very crowded and the waiting list can be rather long. If you want to guarantee a few songs, get there early in the night. I've gone before and had a great time because my group got to sing a... More

This place was by far the worst bar I've ever stepped foot in. We saw the review cautioning visitors to overlook the outside. Worst advice ever. It's even sketchier inside. Between the dim interior and the overpowering stench of beer (honestly - this place smelled bad for a fraternity house), I was ready to leave. My husband insisted we stay... More

My friends and I went here for their karaoke one Friday night and had an absolute ball. So much fun to be had by all. Drinks less desirable as they were not a lot of alcohol for the amount you paid, mostly just juice. However if beer is your thing they have great priced pitchers! We stayed till closing and... More

The Courtside is one of the funnest places I've ever been too. There's karaoke on Friday/Saturday night; and they used to have a trivia night - not sure if that's still running. What it lacks in 5 star looks, it makes up for with awesome bar food, cheap drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere. Courtside never disappoints and there's never a... More
