If you are staying in Cambridge and loathe Harvard Square this is a great option. Oozing quiet confidence and a tight menu with a relaxed bar this is a wonderful place to retreat with a romantic partner. Or even solo with a good book or iPad. I went there 3 times in one week while attending events at Harvard law... More

Thursday night, lots of young couples and several 2-female parties. Not too noisy, prices reasonable, but all the female parties seated up by the door. Did tapas-style: eggplant good but somewhat tough and insufficient quantity; calamari in great batter, but no sauce or topping; good warm beet salad; excellent tuna poke. Male waiter most-snippy. Hidden off-street parking makes it a... More

I love the semi-circular booths at the Temple Bar. Very comfortable. And there is a great range of beers and other drinks. The menu is wide-ranging, and the dishes range from good to great. I recommend the steamed pork bun appetizer.

This is not a truly high end dining destination, but it certainly is a notch above, with well prepared and interesting food that is nicely presented. Service was excellent, and the overall ambience is warm and comforting. Beer selection was very good. Prices are fair for the quality and location.

Food is okay for local bar with late hours and nice ambience. Can get a great fish dish and the soups are typically good. Miss how they used to make the burgers (without bread). Sometimes my choices are limited (gluten-free), but worth it for Craig's crazy wonderful Spotify playlist!

Nice staff and space. I have had brunch here at least five times and it has always been good. Fresh coffee poured all the time, large selection of choices with very big portions. No one can ever finish.

Only downside is noise. It's usually crowded but food is great. Love their steak dishes. Eating at the bar is a good alternative when the place is full.

Came on a Sunday so we didn't have issues with parking. The food was really good, the service really good, but the thing that makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. Exposed brick, dim lighting, high-top tables. It is really a classy place.

We had supper here this past Sat. evening. An early reservation got us in before they became crowded. The food and service here are excellent. Prices are moderate for Boston. I had the steak frites and my wife had the lamb variety. Both were delicious and far more than we could finish. The atmosphere is comfortable, many nice booths. A... More

This is a place we go to when we go to Cambridge and want to meet friends for a meal or celebrate a birthday - often on our way to music or an event in the area. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the food always hits the spot and, I really love the cocktails! Recently, after being at Temple... More
