I visited Charlie Parker on a Friday morning, and the place was packed. As soon as I entered the room I know this was going to be an exceptional experience. The staff was so kind and welcoming the food as Diner food should be... greasy...More

There's nothing fancy about the place, but if you like "small town" diners, this place is exactly that. We walked in and the place was packed, but we got a seat immediately. The wait staff wasn't overly friendly, but they were there anytime you needed...More

We were passing through Springfield about 6:30am, and stopped in for breakfast. The food was mediocre, don't get me wrong, it wasn't BAD, but just ok. service was good, and the atmosphere is really neat!

When we first pulled up, I was hesitant to go in. It looked like an old run down airplane hanger. I was thinking this has to be the wrong place. Hesitantly we did go in & were pleasantly surprised. I felt like I was on...More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We pride ourselves on our fast service and great food. This particular Quonset Hut wasn't an airplane hanger, but many were used for that purpose during World War 2. I have even considered putting the wait...More

Thanks Kim. We are pleased you enjoyed it. We don't add chocolate chips to the giant pancake because it makes it fall apart. We will absolutely add them to our regular sized ones though. We aren't open for dinner (close at 2 every day), but...More
