I ordered these puffy tacos and are no where near the puffy tacos you can get in San Antonio, TX. The puffy tacos are made from masa dough and deep fried. So disappointed. Wonder if any body in Omaha serves puffy tacos made from masa and not flour and not the commercial corn shells.

Great location and fun atmosphere. If you are hungry for Mexican food and are in the Old Market this is the place for you! It is underground and has been there for decades so it is an Old Market staple! Fun to eat there!

Try the specials or go for the unbeatable fish tacos... they're to die for. The cellar location in Omaha's unique Old Market Passageway adds to the atmosphere.

this place was great when it opened but they have been having staff issues and it's hard to get in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time.

We popped in for lunch with a couple of friends. Of course me not being able to eat coriander/cilantro is always an issue when I eat Mexican, however they offered to make my burrito with fresh grilled chicken, and it was delicious. The staff were delightful and so helpful. Everyone else's food was so good too :-), other half had... More

We were staying in the Embassy Suites in Old Market and wanted to eat Mexican, so hotel staff recommended Trini's. It is downstairs in the Old Market "Passageway", which is an enclosed area between 2 buildings. It is not a large restaurant, but the wait staff was very friendly and the food is fantastic. The chips seemed fresh made, not... More

Trini's is a small Mexican restaurant in the downtown Omaha. Cheerful atmosphere and sufficient services. Menu is ordinary, but quality of food is satisfactory.

Stopped by here for lunch after walking across the Bob Kerrey Bridge. The restaurant is in the lower level of one of the market buildings. We sat in their "outside" seating which was just in the atrium of the building. Food was very good and quick service. I had the Big Juan and definitely was full when I was done,... More

Trini’s is hidden away on the ground floor of an alley between two buildings. It is a unique and fun location. There is seating inside the restaurant proper or outside at a couple of tables. We ate outside in the alley. We both had the fish tacos and they were very good. Service was adequate, but a tad slow, even... More

I wrote off the slow service as the cook staff taking their time preparing our meals. The food was very good. The steak I had in my salad appeared and tasted grilled, not fried. The black beans were very good and I would strongly recommend them. If they don't come with your order, try snagging some from someone on your... More
