Sabine and Gerhard, Germany:
After a tour of the national parks, we found the restaurant in Boulder City. At first we thought it would be a nice change from the American food. But what was served to us was fantastic. Tapas at their finest, accompanied by a Portuguese house wine that was first class. But that wasn't enough. The atmosphere transported us straight to Andalusia, and that was not only due to the background music. Added to that was the extremely elegant presentation of the dishes by the owner Eligii, who explained every detail with skill. In short, this is where Michelin-star cuisine is served and the food is worth every cent. We were guests here for two evenings.

There were several of us all wanting to try different tapas. Such wonderful food prepared and served perfectly. I thought I was back in Spain at the best Tapas bar. We had Greek salad, the garlic shrimp, lasagna, pasta with pesto, the mushrooms, the ham with olives on the side with the house wine and beer. Everyone was so pleased with everything, the service, the food and the ambiance and the owner chef explaining each of the dishes. Can’t wait to be back.

If you want to impress your date with authentic Spanish tapas, delicious mains and wines this is the place for you. Eligio is the main man when it comes to taste and presentation. The guy literally comes it at 6 am and marinates his own oils and olives. 5 stars is not enough. This is what real European food is like not the dumbed down carb loaded “olive garden” version that we are used to. From someone who lived in Spain for 3 years this place is a true diamond in already cute Boulder City.

We enjoyed lunch at CDQ this past Saturday 12/2 before the parade festivities. It was clean and I appreciated that the music was not too loud. We ordered various delicious plates and enjoyed the red sangria very much. Eligio was an attentive owner/server who exhibited real passion for his restaurant. Chef Joe absolutely wowwed us with his takes on classic tapas, especially his seafood creations.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! Eligio and staff provide the highest level of service, while serving unique and incredibly delicious meals. You are bound to be impressed!!! Stop it now for a drink with tapas, enjoy a dinner. They are also open for lunch on weekends. Casa Don Quixote is an awesome option in Boulder City, and only a short drive from Henderson or Las Vegas.

Casa Don Quixote is a superb restaurant. We stayed at the Boulder Dam Hotel (also excellent) and it is a short walk away. We travel a great deal and are always happy to find a new and wonderful place to eat that has high quality food at a very reasonable price. It has many non-meat (even vegan) options.

Spanish/Mediterranean cuisine to include tapas as well as full meals. Alycio, the own er, is from Spain and his cuisine is authentic. Sangria is made in house and is fabulous. Bowl of pitted olives comes free. Mussels and clams appetizer has broth that's to die for; careful not to fill up on bread dipped in the broth. Shrimp/clams/mussels on saffron rice was delicious as was the roast pork. Not enough stomach room left for dessert.

This restaurant is a gem and absolutely well worth the drive from Las Vegas. Great atmosphere, personalized service, and amazing food. The best Sangria and each dish was visually stunning and seasoned/cooked to perfection. Truly looking forward to our next meal. Oh... and live music when we were there on a Friday night.

Casa Don Quixote is A Taste of Spain in Boulder City. We did not expect this amazing little restaurant we stumbled upon while visiting Boulder City! The star of the show here is definitely the tapas menu. They offer a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, including cured meats, cheeses, seafood, vegetables, and more. I especially recommend the Papas arrugadas con Aioli (Roasted potato fingerlings in chili oil & aioli), Japadron (Shishito peppers with extra virgin olive oil & Murray River Salt), the pimientos de piquillo (roasted peppers stuffed with goat cheese) and the Home-made Empanadas. Congratulations on your mention in Forbes Magazine for the BEST NEW RESTAURANTS to try in Las Vegas. Well deserved! Thanks for making such amazing food and treating us like family! We will be back often! Cheers!

As we lived in this beautiful country for a long time we can confirm that the dishes in Don Quixote are better than the original.
All the main courses and deserts just fantastic!
Eligio, the owner/ maitre provides a passionate and fun service. So enjoyable!
Worthwhile the trip from Las Vegas to Boulder City.

Two couples dined at this restaurant for the first time. Live music was complementary and neither too loud nor distracting. Every dish was delicious and obviously prepared with attention to details. The Cornish hen was the best that I have had in many years. The owners are excellent hosts.

We found this place as we were waiting for the start of the local Beer Festival and were welcomed with a smile from the owner as we walked in. Service was outstanding and the food was delicious! Even the bread was tasty! We ordered a number of tapas and were not disappointed. We will definitely come back to this pace and highly recommend!

We had not decided where we were going have dinner and were walking around and seeing what options we had. This place was our choice and we had no idea what to expect. We ordered some bread with dipping sauces for a starter and Oh my how tasty it was. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Then came our mains, cauliflower steak and short ribs. These were by far the best meals on our road trip and we had been on the road for 10 days. This place is amazing and the owners are absolute gems. We will 100% recommend this place to anyone and when we come back to Boulder City then we will be going back, If this place was back we would be regulars. Thank you for a great meal and great service.

Hidden Gem in Boulder City. Food was amazing! The flavors were so great we didn’t need much. We had Grilled Ciabatta w/ 3 dips, Chorizo Empanadas, and Sopa de Fresas. Eligio was very welcoming as well. I will definitely have a meal there every time I visit the area.

This restaurant was a fantastic find in Boulder city. Only open six months ago, the food was fantastic! The service by the owner and his staff, or some of the best we’ve ever experienced. We highly recommend this restaurant if you want high-quality food, nice ambience, an excellent service. We were impressed!
