After first visit to the place I fell in love with Francis Scordel and his creative, imaginative approach to the food he creates. The menu is very short, but changing every week, making sure it uses the best ingredients of the very moment of the season. Great sea food of all kinds and wonderful desserts. If I had to complain... L'Atelier des Saveurs is a small, hidden gem. It seats about 20 people & can be completely booked depending on the night & the time of season. We ate there on the 1st time on a Friday night. The owner & chef is Francis Scorbel. His credentials are amazing & the food he serves with his sous chef, Sebastian, is... More

I think it is fair to say,the chef is one of the long time innovators in Provence cuisine. He uses local ingredients and one of his trademarks is his use of flowers, both for decoration and (edible) ones in his dishes. We enjoyed the lunch course (18 euro 2 courses) which had a choice of two dishes per course. He... More

We ate here on 2 occasions and had tasty food each time at reasonable price. Service was attentive and friendly. They even offered to drive us back to our hotel when we had arrived ill prepared for a short lived storm.

Superb service, fresh food and a beautifully created menu. This was a real surprise and the best meal we had in the area. Cannot recommend too highly.

We had dinner late summer, family of four. Sat on the terrace alongside the pedesternised village centre overlooked by beautiful turn of 20th century building. The menu is short though imaginative with emphasis on local produce. A nice collection of amuse Bouche was laid and later delicious home made bread. All the courses were excellent: freshly made and generous. The... More

We arrived in La Colle sur Loup on Sunday evening to find most of the restaurants closed but this one open with just a few customers. The head waiter was charming but the food was brilliant and we enjoyed the fact that the chef came out and greeted everyone. This really is first class (Michelin *) food at a great... More

We chanced upon this restaurant which is in a small village near the Maeght Foundation and Saint Paul de Vence. The service was great, the chef himself served us giving a short explanation of each dish. The dishes we ordered were each a wonderful surprise to the taste buds. Definitely not to be missed when in the area!

38 euros for 3 courses at lunch time with a half decent Rose at 39 euros is pricey for my money. Considering the value I see in places like this closer to home. But the cooking is accomplished, the one dish a chicken with what was meant to be Parmentier potatos but turned out more like a chicken hash with... More

The last time we were in La Colle sur Loup for Les Fêtes was two years ago and we ate at L’Atelier des Saveurs on New Year’s Eve. We still savour the memory - it was a truly wonderful way for the palate to bid farewell to the old year and to welcome the new! Last year we were in... More
