This one star Michelin restaurant turned out to be an excellent choice. I had not been before but heard good things about it. It so turned out that everyone was right! I decided to go with friends for Sunday lunch. The welcome was warm the chosen table excellent on their terrace with absolutely magnificent views. The two tiny starters were... More

We have had lunch here a few times and is more reasonable but the dinner menu is really overpriced. The starters are 40 euros, the mains are 65 euros. I had lamb and it consisted of 2 cutlets and mashed potatoes, no vegetables! My son had lobster and parpadelle as a main and the potion was very small. I have... More

I had been there a few years ago and although I very much enjoyed the food, the snooty attitude of some of the staff was very off-putting. This time however, they were extremely helpful and effective. The tasting menu was a lot of food... The foie gras with mackerel was quite surprising and good. The scallops were perfect as was... Lovely place to go. You really need a car to get there. Inside there is a Lovely view overviewing the vally at the table next to thw windows or on the terrace. The Kitchen is excellent. The best price for what you get is at lunch-time. At lunch time you get the same food as you get at dinner time... More

I've never managed to make it to dinner here before as I was always too jet-lagged to stay awake late enough. Having had excellent breakfasts and lunches, we were excited to have powered through to dinner and were not disappointed. It was late October, so the heaters were turned on to ensure that the terrace area was pleasant enough to... More

We had the privilege to join friends for lunch near St Paul de Vence and was pleased to discover Alain Llorca’s well positioned Restaurant (also a Hotel) with it’s splendid terrace overlooking St Paul in the distance and although early November we sat partly outside in the sun. The set lunch menue of 3 choices are artistically executed and tasty,... More

This is a well-known Michelin-starred restaurant within sight of St Paul de Vance. It has all the trappings of a starred restaurant but, unfortunately, our experience was distinctly average. We paid 367 Euros for the Menu Dejeuner (42 Euro), wine, two plateau de fromages, 4 glasses of champagne and coffee. The food was good but not very interesting; in particular,... More

A lot of good things can be said about this restaurant. The food, the ambiance, the service and wine list were all excellent. Chef Alain Llorca is presiding over the restaurant producing consistently good food. The Michelin star is well earned. We stayed at the hotel for two days, and saw first hand the continuous flow of locals coming to... More

We ate at the highly acclaimed Alain Llorca as a party of 6. The waiter was sullen and moody, until the bill arrived when he suddenly became jolly. The food was really disappointing. The tasting menu courses did not compliment one another for example there was a strong game pie followed by the cheese course, it really needed something in-between... More

Actually this restaurant was recommended to us by friends and they were absolutely correct in their assessment. We had a reservation and that was a smart decision. We had a lovely table, over the top food( very interesting and creative menu choices), excellent wine selections, service , ambiance, view. Welcomed warmly and spent a perfect two hour lunch. Do not... More
