We stopped at this bar because we had 1 hour before taking the boat back. And very pleased with this experience. We ate an excellent burger fries with a warm welcome. The dessert was excellent and very original (burger like profiteroles ) Do not hesitate if you pass

A small restaurant that really deserves to wait its turn, there are very few tables and we can not reserve. The welcome is nice, the staff is top - I especially thank Lou for his efficiency and kindness- the dishes are succulent and the Award is more than reasonable. This place is worth noting on the Ile d’Aix, it is definitely worth a visit, if you are lucky or patient you will not be disappointed.

Great place! We arrived just before a shower a big thunderstorm. At the edge of the bar immediately we are welcomed very warmly! We are described the dishes of the day and given the menu! Very good advice nice service guys on top! Quick service! Beef tataki to fall! And the bruchetta of the day awesome And the addition rather correct compared to what we took! I recommend this property 100%! Thanks to all the piero and lulu team

Pleasant place at the crossroads of shopping streets but a "snack" break worthy of a "tourist trap": flavorless coffee and industrial waffle for 5 euros. I agree with the previous comments from people who, like me, expected to see a simple waffle batter cooked, yet inexpensive and not difficult to offer. Generally speaking, it seems difficult to find a tasty sweet break on the island of Aix, which is a shame!...

Very good welcome and service
Very average fried mussels (mussels full of water at the bottom of the pan) too bad!!
Decent fish and chips
Otherwise perfect desserts.
Beautiful youth in service

We came every day for an aperitif and were very happy. Great atmosphere! Pre-mad and delicious sausage in abundance! This bar animates the village in the evening after the Check-out of the last boat and that is very good!
We'll be back!

Unsure why this is a top rated restaurant. Cafe food. Frozen fish and chips very poor.
Good service, nice sangria and pleasant place to sit for a while.

Having seen this little bar on the way from the ferry we returned after walking round the island (it’s a small island!).
All the seats were full and on enquiry we found a queuing system of standing outside the shop opposite was in action.
The waitress was always aware of who was next and was quick to turn around the tables and so we waited about 10 or 15 minutes.
The food was good, both what we had (moules frites) and what we saw others have.
Service was polite & friendly and the ambience was good.
It was pretty reasonably priced (moules frites about 12 euros).
We would happily go again on our next visit. It is linked to a small brewery behind the church but it was closed when we went. The takeaway hatch of the bar sell the bottled beer if you want some.

Lovely little place on the Main Street in the village. Lovely waitress who tried to help my bad French make sense of the menu. My salad and chips were very tasty and the coffee was delicious. Pricy but as there are not many places to eat they can afford to charge a little extra. Beautiful island and well with a visit got the beaches and the fantastic walks.

Quick stop on the way back to the ferry for some delicious ice cream. 3euro for two large scoops is best value around.

About as simple as you can get, just an awning at the side of the street and a few tables and chairs. It so small you can't really book, just make sure you turn up with plenty of time to spare otherwise you'll be queuing in a long line of people. We had burgers which were recommended by the waitress and rightly so, excellent. The children's portions were pretty huge too. Happily go back but seemingly it's only open in peak season.

We made a tour of the island and stopped for coffee. Sat at the bar-style seating in the gorgeous sunshine and enjoyed the atmosphere of the island. The cafe was playing some 1970s funk music which was bizarre but very enjoyable.
Nothing fancy here - coffee from a Nespresso machine but served with a smile and in a great relaxed venue.

Service is very friendly, coffee is OK but great milk foam, ice is tasty, prices OK. Not very quiet - tourist location but nice seating outside. Friendly to children. Overall considering the touristic location 4 stars (exceeded expectations) elsewhere I would give 3. Probably best place on small Île d'Aix.

Had a pleasant enough lunch here, but nothing exceptional food-wise. Staff were friendly and attentive, although neglected to bring ordered coffee at end of meal. Toilet facilities were not great.
There aren't too many options for dining on the island, so this is as good as you'll get! Also, the island is really busy and, as Bar Beau Teint is right at the main junction is the village it seems to be always VERY BUSY!
