First of all, book! Because even with a reservation, 40 minutes of waiting to get our dishes. Simple menu but it's good. The children had tuna paninis and a goat cheese and honey pizza which was excellent. Dish of the day: hake fillet with salad and potato aioli. It was very filling! (more salad and less potatoes would be better 😊). The raspberry sorbet was very good!

Visiting for a week, we ate there for lunch and dinner. Great value for money, the daily specials change every day and are delicious. In the evening, the chef concocts new dishes for the locals. All the products are fresh and you can feel it. You can try its artisanal ice creams with your eyes closed and the sea casserole is a pure delight 😍 We will come back to the island just to have the pleasure of eating there again! A big thank you to the dynamic team and to Benoit.

Simple restaurant, but the dishes are varied, hearty, well cooked and at a very reasonable Award. The staff is very friendly, attentive and available even at busy times. Very good organization, little expectation. Possibility of booking. We were with our 2 grandsons 3 and 5 years old, the dishes were adapted for them by the waitress. A very good choice for a successful day on the island of Aix.

Passing with family on the island, we were looking for a quick lunch to enjoy the island. We made reservations the day before for lunch. Passing in front of the restaurant earlier than expected, the waiter told us that he would call us when a table became available, which was done. Fast service despite the crowds and a good working atmosphere for the team! Very good pizzas, sandwiches and salad!

Congratulations to the entire Aix'Press team who prepared two delicious dinners for us for a large family celebration of 100 people, during this magnificent Ascension weekend. Thank you for their sympathy and their great availability! Unforgettable memory...

If you want to eat possibly the worst food you have ever eaten in an environment of screaming kids then carry on in. If not keep walking. Ordered steak sandwich, which was not steak, either a chopped up burger or kebab. Either way it was of an indeterminate origin. The noise of the children was only drowned out by the staff shouting at each other.

This is a simple place to eat with basic, rapid and efficient service. We had the plat du jour which was hake - absolutely excellent, served with no frills and we enjoyed it greatly.

We are on a day trip to the island and surprised at the variety of food available. We had pizza and local wine which was amazing value for money. Pizza was extremely tasty, service from very friendly staff and as quick as anywhere. Pay up front when you order is a novelty but probably helps keep prices low. If you are in to steaks be prepared to leave plenty as the next table to us did.

Kids had their ice cream and crêpes there. Everything was good but not exceptional. Service was ok. The street where we were installed was quiet and sunny (that day). Watch out for hungry sparrows :)

Simple food, but well done. Excellent friendly service. First good stop after you get off the boats to Aix. Recommended.

After working up an appetite rambling around the island, this place suited for a quick pizza and a salad. The rest of the menu included panini, sandwiches and a few specials of the day. Super friendly service by all staff, and efficient meal preparation (much needed as we had a return boat to catch). A variety of granitas are available too, along with ice-cream, and drinks including organic wine produced on the island. This is not fancy food by any means (e.g. the salad wasn't dressed and instead was accompanied by 2 plastic sachets of sauce), but it it was perfect for our purposes.

The most charming place to go. Wholly unprepossessing - don't expect Michelin stars - this little cafe is a gem. The savouries are filling, the deserts super but it's the service that really sells it. If you want a fun snack it can't be beaten.

We traipsed round the island in the heat looking for somewhere special for lunch as it was our wedding anniversary. All the more formal restaurants were full, or looked a bit over stretched. So we ended up at Aix Presse. It was manically busy, but the patron ruled with a rod of iron! The staff and customers all doing as they were told. Place your order, then and sit at your allocated table. We had an excellent tuna baguette and tasty chips, and were entertained watching the goings on, including the boss going out onto the road to pick up litter that was blowing by. A good place for a quick lunch, and if you have come in on one of the day trip boats, a quick lunch is all you have time for!

Small restaurant that pays no mine but what a nice surprise. Very good quality for a very small Award. Only downside, service a little long but it is worth waiting for. Very nice staff.
