Wonderful lunch on new years eve outside in the winter sun. Excellent food, wine and service. A great way to see out 2016.

Fantastic diner with great advice for the wine. The choice of armagnacs whiskies and rhum is amazing.

Charmingly, the menu opens with a list of what is NOT served: chips, chicken nuggets, chicken, children's menu, etc. This is an establishment where food and drink are taken seriously and everything seems locally sourced. They serve abundant fish and seafood, local wines (but the cellar is extensive), cure their own ham and keep an excellent cheeseboard. Having eaten here... More

Both my husband and I consistently find that both their menus and their preparations are excellent. Tonight we each had a dozen raw oysters and a fresh fish. They definitely source their ingredients very knowledgeably as their oysters were some of the finest of the area - and even their accompanying butter turned out to be a hand churned specialty... 2nd visit this month and even better. Never feels rushed here - welcoming and homely. The huitres gratinees are worth a visit here alone, then a dig into their fantastic cured meats is a treat. Excellent fish on a daily menu, St Pierre and Sole this time both perfectly cooked. We'll be back!

We visited for our son's birthday meal. Although the food was delicious, the service was less than friendly or helpful, with the 'newspaper menu' being complicated to understand. At the end of the evening we were directed through the wine cellar to pay rather than being able to pay at the table. The maitre d' almost turned his back on... More

Had the dish with 3 sort of fish for 2 persons and got some dry salmon, sole and espadon with a very little vegetables and some mashed potatoes - cold and very uninspired served. EUR 49,- As a dessert we got the one for the day which was a scoop of peache icecreme served with the juice from a canned... More

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel unwelcome. Grumpy waiting staff despite the restaurant being nearly empty so they weren't busy. The menu was not child friendly at all. The quality of the food was good although we found both fish dishes undercooked. The bill, when it eventually arrived, was pricey and we left still hungry.

Wow. We had a couples evening out tonight- grand parents minding the 2 kids. High expectations after 2 other occasions here over the last 7 years while we have had a holiday pace here. Given worst table location, wrong wine (yet corrected) and terrible food - expensive fish platter for2 ( better home bbq fish last pm) . The best... More
