We visited Seattle for the day and enjoyed some yummy chowder here. We had been looking forward to this our entire trip and it did not disappoint. We had New England Clam Chowder in the bread bowl, Seafood Bisque and Oyster & Clam Chowder in the bowl. So good, we plan to order some on line! This is a must... More

Pike Place Market had a lot of competition but this is a must. I had the Smoked Salmon Chowder and my husband got the traditional crab chowder. My smoked salmon was incredible, with a touch of cream cheese - it was TO DIE FOR! If I could have ordered it to ship, I would have. Loved it!

It has earned the rave reviews and the hype! They ran out of sourdough bowls just before us but the soup is delicious. We didn't try anything else but can vouch for the Seafood Bisque. Outstanding! Don't let the long lines spook you, it moves quickly!

This chowder is to die for. I tried the market (that day it was lobster, crab and corn) and the salmon chowder. They were both fabulous. It was worth the wait in line and the walk through the cold rain. Yummy!!!

The line can seem pretty intimidating and looks like it will take FOREVER but I've never waited more than 25 minutes. But trust me, it's worth the wait. Their chowder is hands down the best in Seattle (if not the world). Fresh seafood, yummy bread bowls, and lots of variety. My favorite is the market chowder, which varies based on... More

Get the bread bowl if you like. You can also get a sampler. All are simply the best!. The line can be long, but Oh so worth it. Very fun. Seating is tricky, so get the first table you can. The line moves along fairly well.

It is fairly busy here, but the line moves pretty quickly! They had the lady at the halfway point passing out menus which was very convenient! We ordered the seafood bisque chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. It was heavenly!!

When we arrived, there was line at least 50 people deep! Line moved fairly quickly and it was worth the wait. Staff was friendly and efficient at serving. Finding a table is hit or miss. There is only a few tables inside with several more outside (but beware on a rainy day). Food is definitely the highlight though. Loved the... More

Got the sampler of four different chowders and each was wonderful. From crab and mussel chowder, or scallop chowder to traditional new england, there was a chowder for everyone. Great lunch (although limited seating and you will have to wait in line). Great on a cold, rainy Seattle day!
