Extremely long lines, let you know that something worth waiting for must be nearby. Pike Place Chowder, definitely doesn’t disappoint. With a large variety of fresh made chowders to chose from, several visits will be required to try them all.

Chowder and fried oysters were awesome. Good portion of oysters more of s meal rather than an appetizer as billed. Cheap for what you get. Chowder thick, creamy and full of flavor. Lobster roll was packed with mostly claw meat but was lacking flavor. Tasted...More

The clam chowder was really good & flavorful. The wait was insane around lunchtime. We went shortly before the shop closed & the wait was not bad.

The chowder was so thick and salty. And the line was long. Definitely not worth the waiting. I only ate there because I was passing by and was hungry. I love New England clam chowder but the chowder at this place I really would not...More

Long line , but worth the wait The bread bowl NE chowder was a meal in itself. My favorite was the smoked lobster bisque. A must go, wait, and stuff your belly joint if anywhere near Seattle

This is the best chowder I ever had BUT, the wait can be long and the service slow. Then you are packed in small tables close together. I had the shrimp and corn chowder that was the special of the day, loved it. Tourist trap,...More

Some of the chowders have bacon and some have a pork sausage. They also have chowders with none of the above, ask your server which ones are without pork and they'll direct you to one that fits your preference. Enjoy!
