We opted for the dine around Seattle prix fixe menu. Between the two of us we got the squash soup, polenta fries, mussels, chicken, espresso cheesecake, and chocolate pecan pie. Everything was excellent, and for $22 per three course menu, it is one of the best values I've seen in a restaurant in a very long time. The polenta fries... More

We stopped here for lunch after seeing Dungeness Crab tater tots on the menu! They are LARGE tots and enough to share for a group. They were delicious. I ordered the clams and the were fresh and tasty. My friend ordered the fish and chips and the portion was huge and really good. The atmosphere is light and airy with... More

Steel Head Diner has excellent food, more on the red meat side than many of the Pikes Place eateries that feature Seattle's abundant sea food. The menus is diverse but could use more sea food offerings. Our meal was excellent to say the least. We ate there on Black Friday and service was lacking. We sat for over .5 hour... More

Combining appetizer"Small Plates" for a variety of local northwest choices, or ordering entrees and wonderful dessert are both good choices at this Pikes Market favorite. The staff is professional and knowledgeable and food is excellent. I love the clams, but you will be pleasantly surprised by the variety as the menu ventures from typical Northwest food adding a bit of... More

Went here on a recommendation while in town, ended up ordering the chowder and poutine. Huge portions and great food.

On a business trip to Seattle had a chance to stop here for a quick dinner... Wonderful ambiance with a casual yet classy atmosphere. Tried the beet and watercrest salad which had wonderful crispy earthy flavors and freshness. Also had the cioppino which was superb with the fresh seafood flavors of the northeast! A must try if looking for something... More

Stopped by to grab a scotch and a brew, eat some apps, and catch game 7 of world series while on biz travel. Food was creative but too salty to eat. Decided to leave and wash it down with some high quality Guinness from the Irish Pub about a block away. That was a good decision :)

Great place to eat by Pikes Place. The mac and cheese, the chicken egg rolls, the soups, etc, etc. It's all good. Great bartender and servers.

While there was nothing wrong, the food was just okay. Perhaps it was what we ate, not sure. We thought the seafood was on the pricey side. That said service was very good and location made it easy to find!
