Was only in Seattle for 5 days but managed to go to this place 4 times. Really one of the best coffee shops I encountered in Seattle. Got the mystery mocha every time and each one was totally different. Im back in Seattle again in...October and will definitely be going againMore

Our daughter was having some grub at "three girls" (review of that elsewhere) and somebody mentioned the Ghost Alley Espresso; and really, when you hear a name like that, how can you not go look for the place? We found a window in the wall...downstairs from the main fish-throwing locale, across from the "stuck-gum wall" (just go see it, you'll see what they mean). A cheery server was inside. Our daughter had a "salty nut" and I had a boring cappuccino. This place has local color and is just, well, I think "cute" is the word. The coffee is also good. For those who wear t-shirts that say "death before decaf", this is a place you'll want to visit. Everyone stay healthy.More

Don’t let the long time deter you, get the iced mystery mocha, it is worth the wait! We also picked up beans and stickers too! Friendly staff!

Great coffee! I had the “Salty Nut” iced and was not disappointed! This has been my favorite coffee shop so far in Seattle.

We were at the market, looking for...what else? Coffee! And stumbled, literally onto this place. Had to wait for a bit to order but the staff was super friendly! We opted to try the mystery mochas and the barista asked some great questions about our...likes and dislikes. Both drinks were different but excellent! Located down an alley near the gum wall, which was another thing on our list to find. Will definitely go again next time we are in Seattle.More

incredible rich creamy espresso (hard to come by these days!) and some killer pastries! Really appreciate people that focus and hone their craft! Good job and keep it up!

Do not pass by without trying their coffee, I was not disappointed it was great very unusual place to sit and watch the world go by

I went twice while I was there and was never disappointed. Actually, I was so impressed I had to purchase a bag of coffee to take home. The Barista's were exceptional in making the coffee drinks and knowledge of their products. Both times the friendliness...of this small intimate coffee bar pulls you in and makes you feel a part of the Seattle vibe. I was so impressed with this place that from now on when I am in Seattle this will be the ONLY coffee shop in which I will give my business. So, if you are in Seattle go to Pike's Market and next to the gum wall you will experience a delight in which you will want to repeat time and time again. Love this place ! ! !More

This miniscule fixture of Pike Place Market, located a few steps from the notorious chewing gum wall, has good coffee but is hardly big enough to turn around in.

Great espresso located near the disgusting gum wall. I bought their Ghost Alley beans and just had a cup of coffee at my home in San Francisco. Simply marvelous! I had an espresso during my visit a few weeks ago. It helped get the terrible...taste of a mediocre americano I bought at the original location of that chain. Ghost Alley serves a shot or so of sparkling with their espresso. An excellent touch that not a lot of places do.More

The shop itself is tiny but by gosh is the coffee they serve mighty. Staff are friendly and quick to serve (although watch out ‘cos they will randomly serve their friends ahead of genuine customers who have waited a long time). I had the turmeric...mocha - amazing! If you’re prepared to wait you will not be disappointed.More

Another random find, we were actually on the hunt for The Gum Wall when we saw this tiny coffee shop. WHY we were looking for The Gum Wall still confuses me, but I guess we just wanted to say we’d been there and seen that....And we went, and we saw, and I shuddered at the thought, and then I quickly turned away and made my way back up the alley. There were a few people in line when we got there, but the two baristas did a good job of moving the line forward and getting drinks out to the customers. I actually left my husband in the line to snag to of the only chairs inside – facing out onto the alley. We both got the seasonal lattes, but my husband later said he regretted that he didn’t go with the “barista’s choice” brew – basically a random drink selection brewed for you, based on the barista’s whim and one or two questions. The lattes were good – hot and not overly sweet. But I think the thing I enjoyed most was having the time to sit in a semi-secluded spot with my husband. I mean, our seats looked out onto the busy alley, and the line queued up along the windows…and people would pause there to pose for pictures with their drinks…so, you know, do what you will with “semi-secluded”. I don’t think we’d go back, not with all the other small coffee shops in the city. But I’m glad we popped in, and that we had a chance to sample their brews.More
