Just an average Chinese Restaurant. Food was higher priced than normal for Moo Goo Gai Pan did not include any extras like soup or egg role.

Louie's has been just north of the Ballard Bridge for many years. While many have come and gone, it continues on because of good, consistent quality and service. Add to that the fact they are open late makes them one to put into regular rotation.

My husband and I are bewildered by the reviews we have just read of Louie's. Our experience of the food, service and gracious atmosphere over the past ten years has been outstanding. We have never ordered nor have we seen on the menu any fried foods. The Cantonese Dry Fried (stir fried) Steak,The Mandarin Beef and Pressed Duck are dishes... More

We went here on a Saturday night and the place was the dance of the living dead. Straight out of the 50's and most of the food was fried to a crisp during the Eisenhower Adminisration. No dish worth commenting on. Go elsewhere.

Our family went here for dinner. We will never go back. We showed up for our reservation and a man standing there told me he had been waiting over an hour for his "to go" dinner. We have two younger kids who don't want to wait when they are starving. I asked the man getting ready to seat us how... More

We've been doing a family Chirsmas eve dinner at Louie's for a number of years so we had been pretty happy with the place. That is, until last year when we were held up for more than an hour on our reservation and, with the kids nearing bedtime, opted for take-out in place of sit- down. This year we advanced... More

Our family has been going to Louies for over 40 years, and without fail had a excellent meal, and the service was tops! We have been very disappointed the last four times and will not go back unless we hear the food and chef have changed. We have noticed that they do not have the business they once had. That... More

The more the merrier with everyone sharing the delicious dishes. We all order different things off their big menu and pass then around the table.

Ate there once w/ out of town guests. Not sure would eat there again. Told waitress that there was fly in my glass of water... she appears to only have plucked out the fly & returned the glass to me - not a new glass of water. Food wasn't memorable
