We enjoyed the piping hot Shepherd's Pie and Roast Beef Pasty. Beautiful day for a casual dinner outside.

This is a really great Irish Pub, and is probably the busiest one during St. Patrick's Day, great location, and great options inside.

The thing about American “Irish pubs” is that they tend (in some instances) to “out Irish” the originals! Apparently, however, this Seattle version enjoys Irish/American ownership and to that extent affords a nice place, amid a very touristy area, to sit down and enjoy a...More

Ok, it was a rare sunny Saturday afternoon in Seattle and although the restaurant wasn't completely full, they looked busy. On arrival, I stood 10min to wait to be seated, then told to seat myself even though this is usually not the case (and the...More

I am Irish, ths bar felt like home, down to the fella singing Niall Diamond and Van Morrison songs on the guitar in the corner, a small amount of banter from the bar man and an excellent selection of irish whiskey. Love it!

Walking into this Post Alley bar, you really feel like you're in Ireland with the dark walls, wood furniture, and the cozy little nooks to sit in while you try one of the many brews. Our server was from Ireland, so the authenticity is thorough!...More

Ate there as soon as we arrived in Seattle. Hadn't heard of it but saw it on one of the tourist maps we found. We weren't disappointed. Interesting location in an alley just above the Pike Place Market. Expect very expensive parking and warnings to...More

If you go to their website you will see that there isn't a children's menu. When we were there , we did not notice any children in the restaurant.

Description
Kells Irish Restaurant & Bar is one of Seattle's favorite hideaways. Situated in Post Alley above the historic Pike Place Market, Kells is a fine way to round up a day's sightseeing or browsing at the market. The pub is always alive with folks cooling off after a day's work. The restaurant will be sure to remind you of the Old Country with its warm, cozy atmosphere and traditional surroundings. There's also a patio outside that's a great place to feel the breeze from the Sound and the buzz of the marketplace. We also have a grand celebration every St. Patrick's Day. Kells proudly serves Seattle's largest Single Malt Scotch collection.
