We were in the area for a girls weekend and Hattie's came recommended. If you're into local dives with great food and atmosphere, you have to stop in! Service was great, lots of smiles and they obviously have a very regular clientele. Great drink menu and the perfect late night food menu! My chicken fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes... We stopped here for dinner prior to going to the Tractor Tavern. The food and drinks were quite good. It was nice to enjoy a hot buttered rum and a nice hot meal on a gold night. The service was impeccable.

Thank God the Seahawks won the game early in the day! My wife and I were planning to host a few people (20+) for cocktails as a get together of friends, family and new to town folks. We attempted to find a location, but as it works out, our niece said "We're going to Hattie's" A small pub room, at... More

We ate at Hattie's Hat our first night in Seattle and it was delicious. I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. My friend had the best tater tots of her life. To make things even better our waiter (Momo) was super friendly and fun. I would definitely go here the next time I visit.

We stumbled upon this place quite by accident when we noticed their sign saying " Burgers & Bloody Mary's". "Interesting combo" we though so we wondered in. Ordered two Bloddy Mary's as we checked out the menu. We are not really burger people but they got us with the tilmock cheddar and the brioche bun. This was one of the... More

Stumbled upon this eclectic place for brunch on a recent day in Ballard and will return on our next visit. We were quickly seated in the front section in a well worn booth overlooking a wonderful old carved bar. The prompt, friendly service was complemented by quickly delivered delicious food. The " Swedes" Swedish pancakes were delicious and my husband... More

OK. I'll be controversial here and give this rightly called "hole in the wall" bar an excellent rating. Obviously, it cannot measure up to the more expensive gourmet establishments in Seattle, but it succeeds because it is friendly, very neighborhood oriented, moderately priced and does not try to do what it cannot deliver. All this and in our favorite neighborhood... More
