Restaurant came recommended by Tour Guide. Arrived 5:30pm with less than 1/2 the tables occupied. Was greeted with sorry there is nothing available for you. We asked about the open tables and the host responded “ I’m sorry there is nothing I can do for...More

Susan, I’m sorry we had to turn you away, but many nights we are full with reservations and just a table or two for walk ins. Just because you see an empty table does not mean someone with a reservation won’t be sitting there in...More

Nice atmosphere, but crowded and loud. the Manager was friendly and helpful. Nice menu, good food, good wine list, good service. I had the Veal Osso Buco and my wife had Gemelli Sienese; both were very good! Reservations are highly recommended.

We have fond memories of past visits to Assaggio. The veal dish I ordered last November was one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. Ordered the same dish this month and it was ok, not great. Vegan options for my daughter...More

I dined here as a solo business traveller which they accommodated well, I did not feel out of place. The restaurant is noisy but had a good atmosphere, there were a few groups so service was brisk and polite but not overly solicitous. I had...More

Hi Mitchell, sorry about the noise level, we had a few holiday parties over the weekend as well as a sporting event on in the bar-needless to say, it did get a little noisy. I'm sorry that ruined your dinner experience that night : (...More

This lively authentic Italian restaurant serves a wide menu of traditional Italian fare. It's all well-prepared and plentiful. It feels like a trattoria --dishes are simple and wholesome. The minestrone soup was good, but not memorable. The risotto with seafood was flavorful; the special of...More

If the children are well behaved, this restaurant would be very appropriate for a birthday celebration. Tables are close, but it is both loud and casual. Kids would enjoy the excellent Italian food.
