Fail one: restroom smelled strongly of pee, not very tidy. Pee atti? Fail two: slow to serve despite seeing at least 5 servers and only 5 other tables Fail three: server walked away from us in mid order for starters without explanation Fail four: 'clean' fork was caked with egg? Replaced it but felt at least my coffee should have... More

This is a very large restaurant that seems very corporate - in the worst definition of the word. Impersonal. Formulaic. Rushed. Bland. The food was not bad but it certainly was not good. I can recommend this restaurant on a rainy night when your car just broke down in the nearby parking lot and you have to wait an hour... More

Piatti has been down in University Village for more than two decades now and for good reason. It is a nicely priced Italian restaurant that has some very authentic food. You can build your own meal by choosing antipasti, salad, entrée, and then finish it off with a nice dessert. I love the potato gnocci. Service is wonderful. Very attentive,... More

The food (and pizza) are very tasty here, not the best Ive had, but good enough to come back for when I am in the University Village area. I have never had a poor meal here and it's been consistent for many years,

We were hungry for a tasty lunch after attending a couple of lectures at nearby U of W, and this place worked. Good sandwiches (Butchers Meatballs) and fries. No wait this Saturday afternoon. Not hurried. Above average food. Classier than a purely burger, pasta place.

It was a typical Seattle Fall day - cool - blustery and wet ! for a Southern Californian who loves Fall and the shift to Fall foods but has a hard time enjoying hearty soups and comfort food in shorts and a t shirt - so for me it was a perfect day and Piatti was the perfect stop ,... More

Marshall was a fabulous waiter! Appetizer was caprese which was tasty with heirloom tomatoes but spendy. You have to pay extra for balsamic. can't remember the name of my main course which was pasta and the special of the day. had pancetta, tomatoes and a spicy kick. the flourless chocolate cake was fantastic and beautifully presented. house cab was delish... We came here upon recommendation of some friends. We came for lunch and we weren't disappointed! We ordered the fritter appetizer. 😋 I ordered the sweet corn ravioli... I do love corn and Italian food so it was a shoe in! My husband ordered the salmon of course and it was beautifully cooked and seemed to be fresh. Our friend... More

This was one of my favorite restaurants to go to when I traveled for work. Warm and cozy, well lit. After a remodel the menu is a third of what it was and ambience chic yet cold. The corn ravioli was very good. But the waiter knew nothing about a house wine and seemed overly wired. My only food complaint,... More

Piatti in University Village is wonderful. A great setting and absolutely some of the best italian food. The tomatoes on the Caprese salad were fresh heirloom and melted in your mouth. The lamb ragu was outstanding as well as the gnocchi. (I helped my wife finish hers - big portions).
