Ambakity is so delicious!!! We’ve been going here since they’ve opened and have never been disappointed. The only disappointment is that more people don’t frequent this place. People don’t know what they’re missing!

Ambakity is a true gem! My son and his wife discovered this delightful place when they bought a house nearby. After trying it, they started telling us how good it was, and we couldn't wait to try it ourselves. They brought us there for dinner, then...we brought more of our family, told our friends, and EVERYONE has loved it! The owners are so nice, and the food is fantastic, starting with the chips and salsa trio that appear after you are seated - truly the best around. Then, the food - everything I have tried has been delicious, beautifully plated, and served with care! Even their rice and beans, which are often just an afterthought on the plate, are SO good. We are huge fans of Ambakity and go there as often as we can.More
A friend and I tried this new restaurant, because it is in the old location of an old favorite restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was great, we are already planning to go again, next month. Great presentation of the food and very...reasonably priced. The chips are home made and are very good, but be advised, they do charge for a serving of these excellent chips, with 3 different sauces to dip into.More
We stopped in for an early lunch and were delighted with the food, the service, the atmosphere of this little cantina in South Park. I'm looking forward to many more visits!
This place is amazing. The food is stellar and the service is warm and attentive, but casual and fun. We loved our food, fresh and flavorful. Started with the tortilla chips, obviously freshly made and served with 3 of their house made salsas. Yum! Dinner...consisted of a gorgeous tamale, stuffed with succulent pork and served with tomatillo salsa. We enjoyed chicken enchiladas with mole and, the favorite, the chile relleno. None of the flavorless omelette here, just a tender chile, stuffed with tangy cheese and finished with a bright, chile sauce that you want to sop up. Beans and rice are served separate so as not to diminish the wondrous entrees - which we appreciated. Our margaritas were top notch, and warning, they aren't cheap, but they are really good! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Very easy parking, too! Delete reviewMore
