The burritos are good, but not amazing. If your looking for a food burrito and a place to eat this will do.

Went here for lunch on a Sunday with friends. The service was friendly but slow. We had to ask for water refill. The atmosphere is good with a great mix of 80s punk and Mexico in the décor and all young staff but I guess you drink here rather than come for the food: the crispy shell tacos were overtoasted... As a single parent I don't get to eat out very often. I'd been wanting to try El Chupacabra since it opened many years ago. Now in walking distance I took my daughter to sit outside on the patio at the end of summer. The food was just OK and my server was a real hipster, wanna-be-cool type of personality.... More

Found via car's navigation system, chose to visit purely on name alone. Arrived with my cousin just before 2 PM; it was quiet but steady. Great Chupacabra decor, wonderful fireplace, which we enjoyed on the rainy day. Warning, NO parking lot; street parking only. (We lucked out.) The Bloody Mary's were heavy on the horseradish and light on tomato flavor,... More

Pros - Cute setting, comfy atmosphere, attentive service, large portions, very, very reasonable prices. Cons - Very average food and drinks. Enchiladas with two different kinds of meat were lacking any zest, spice or something to remind me of exactly what I was eating. Parking can be challenging. While the food was of course edible, I'm not sure I would... More

Good variety, good portions and decent food--fair prices and good service. Sat outside and enjoyed the weather and people watching

Interesting menu and I especially liked the sauces they have available at the table; one is tomatillo, as you would expect. The other two are more interesting, both tomato based, one more sweet with pineapple and the other with chiplote, though not too hot. Service was good. I think the food is average. it is a fun local place to... More

We visited this Mexican restaurant on our first night. It was convenient to our B&B as we could walk to it. The setting was very nice - we sat outside and our server was good. The food was okay - I would eat there again but more due to convenience rather than being delicious Mexican food.

Went here with my husband, teens and another family with a 2 year old. For an Alki Beach bar/ restaurant, they managed to please us all. Food was solid and there is a wide selection of tequilas. Small patio seating outside. Cool punk vibe.

Seating is a bit cramped when they are busy, but the food is awesome (Chicken Taco Salad) and I had 2 Strawberry Margaritas!! Asked for very, very little ice in a "on the rocks" Strawberry Margarita...........and they listened!!! Chicken Taco Salad was fresh, and super great seasoning and tasted great!! Definitely going back again before we move!!
