Found this gem whilst looking through the Michelin guide. Perfect stopover place for a night driving through France. A small pretty town on the Soane River. Had the 6 course surprise menu. Incredible value for €60. I was actually served 12 tastes/courses in total. So good l am staying another night to dine there again. Fabulous service. Interesting dining room.... More

We had dinner here as it was recommend by my father. Glad we followed his advice. We took the 6-course menu and all dishes were tasty, good portions and lovely decorated. The restaurant is actually very big and they offer you good tables with a lot of privacy. The staff and service level were great. We took two bottles of wine... More

The town of Tournus, population 6,000, boasts four Michelin-starred restaurants. Which one to choose? Our taxi driver and our bistro hostess recommended Restaurant Aux Terrasses because of its consistent fine food and value for money. How right they were! We reserved a table for four (highly recommended!) while walking through the Old Town of Tournus and headed for a seven... More

We had called ahead to let the restaurant know that we were one vegetarian and one vegan diner. The staff were very accommodating to our kind request and received us warmly when we arrived. The chef created some of the most creative and stunning dishes for us. Course after course was a palate delight, making this a remarkable dining experience... More

We booked the 140 Euro menu together with the room through online Reservation, not knowing what what to expect. The price range, given French customs is more mid-range and we let the Chef surprise us and asked the sommlier to select the wines for us - at a fair rate of 50 €/Person. The first amouse geule arrived really quick... More

Our first visit to this restaurant. We chose their 140 euro menu with 9 courses and 9 glasses of wine! Excellent inventive food with very efficient pleasant staff including very knowledgeable wine waiter. The decor is modern but in good taste although we prefer tablecloths. Perhaps candles on the tables would have given a warmer atmosphere. But this wouldn't put... More

If you are visiting the Burgogne area and have an adventurous palate you must go for their prix fixe lunch menu. 25€ gets you an amazing three course meal plus little pallet cleansers along the way. I loved everything about this place - other reviews complained that the dining room is plain but I thought it had a simple elegance... More

We had high hopes of the only Michelin one star restaurant on our tour of Burgundy. Unfortunately we had expensive food lacking in flavour, and this was far surpassed by two Michelin "bib gourmand" restaurants - take note! Eating a la carte to taste the chefs best dishes, I found the frogs legs lacking in flavour (30 euros) and the... More

Went to this place for a special dinner with another couple. The food is outstanding - edgy, inventive and decorative, with a French underpinning. Service is good. But the setting is not special (a single room with modern, unexceptional decor). All of that is fine, but one of their simpler degustation menus plus wine cost us 200 euros. There are,... More

This Michelin Star restaurant was recommended to us by a friend, particularly because they offer a fixed price menu lunch at a more reasonable price that usual. We had to give this a go, as we would not usually take our kids to such a nice place! We were not disappointed. The restaurant had amazing decor and equally as glorious... More
