The service was slow and the waiter seemed to want to be anywhere but there. The food was unimaginative, typical, and decent. There are several better places to eat in Seward, so keep walking.

We stayed at Seward for a day and stopped by Joe's as it was recommended by the hotel staff. Great King Crabs, great clams. Price is up there but it worth it. Awesome.

I had the Captain's Platter (fried halibut, scallops, and shrimp). Breaded was light and flavorful and seafood was not overly seasoned. Seafood Chowder was delicious too. As in most Alaskan places, it's expensive. Two meals, two coffees was more than $65. Also, this is the...More

We had a lovely anniversary dinner here at Ray's to celebrate our first night in Seward. It had a nice bar and the dining room had a beautiful view of the boats going by. Order the pork piccata for sure. I've literally dreamed about it.

Wow! I ordered a light dinner of the Asian salad with salmon, and it was so delicious. It had spinach, salmon cooked perfectly, pea pods, red onion sliced thinly, a crunchy light shell, and a wonderful salad dressing. I also had the Rodney strong chardonnay....More

The mussels were unique, in coconut milk, and delicious, some of the best I have ever had. The service was excellent. One of the best meals we have had in Alaska!

We had crab legs at another place in Seward, in th emain part of town, Christo's Palace. They have a good deal on a "bucket of crab legs" which also has dungeoness and snow crab legs. The snow crab legs were not worth it... More
