Our large family of 10 (aged 13-73) ate at the Beach Tree four times including two lunches, one late night meal, and Thanksgiving dinner. Each meal was memorable and delicious!

A great place for drinks and pupus but too expensive for dinner. Go for the view and a drink but save you money on the expensive menu, pupus are good. Service is hit and miss. One time great the next time "where did that server go?"

Gorgeous setting and oceanfront view in a lovely open-air restaurant. The food was good enough but ridiculously overpriced, even by Hawaii standards i.e. nightly special of grilled mahi mahi with a dab of relish and half of a plate of mixed greens with balsamic vinaigrette for $45. Our waiter was pleasant but kept over filling the wine glasses which is... More

We stopped for lunch here to enjoy the lovely view of the ocean. While service was fine there was a hair in one main dish. Although the dish was quickly replaced it put a damper on the meal. It's a bit of a hike down to the pool area but carts are available to transport you if needed. This is... More

Stopped here for a drink while killing time before our flight out of Kona. We read about it and it sounded like a beautiful place for drinks which it was until we got the bill. Two mixed drinks ( which were subpar) and two sodas came to $48. Sort of ruined the whole thing. We were used to and expecting... More

This is a casual beachside restaurant with a broad menu, great food, and the sound of the ocean. What a great place to watch the sunset!

Stopped by for dinner on the way back to Kona for an evening flight. Right on the beach, as the name implies...best view of the sunset. The food is amazing - the risotto and sea bass were sublime. Service is super-attentive, and wine list is very nice. Everything you would expect at the Four Seasons Hualalai...one of the very best... More

My husband and I ate at the Beach Tree Bar & Grill 3 times during our week stay. Every time was excellent! We had Margherita Pizza, Caesar Salad and refreshing beverages. Exemplary service from Jeff and Greg, who were very attentive and friendly.

Trellised seating allows for al fresco dining, and outdoor lounge spaces set the stage for the perfect beachfront cocktail. Chef de Cuisine Nick Mastrascusa – formerly of 57 restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel New York – oversees a menu featuring California cuisine with Italian influences. All wines on the wine list are offered by the glass, half carafe and full bottle. Cocktails feature tropical ingredients, fresh fruit and original combinations, and include the Beach Tree Smash, which mixes pear and lime, and Tom's Pink Shirt, which combines guava liqueur, fresh Waimea strawberries and house-made sweet and sour made from agave nectar and fresh lime juice.
