Some of the dishes were very good and it is a very popular place to be with a great view. But some of the food came out pretty so so.

Huggo's is a great spot to enjoy a morning mimosa. The view can't be beat and we didn't have to wait long for a table. Bottomless mimosas are cheaper if you are going to be drinking more than one. Kona sunshine breakfast pizza was delicious!
Huggo's is along the strip, an area reminiscent of every tourist strip in the country. Our concierge recommended Huggo's, and it was not very special. The food was okay, the service was okay, the setting was okay. Just nothing to really set it apart, when...More
We ate breakfast here three times. I had the Ono-Licious Benedict once which was excellent, the FBI Omelet which was also excellent (though rich) and the Portuguese Baked Eggs Skillet, which was tasty but a lot more tomato sauce forward and soupy than I expected...More

We had to visit Huggo's twice, and it was partly because of their desserts. The entrees were very good, and the service was excellent - as you'd expect at these prices. Howver, we came back because of their Mauna Kea Ice Cream Pie.
Wow the pancakes are a lot. I got three pancakes with scrambled eggs and could not eat even half. I felt terrible wasting all that food but no microwave to heat them up later. We had some confusion with the waitress and the kitchen so...More
