On this visit my wife chose Chicken and Shrimp pasta ($24) and I their Scallops ($31). As expected both were nicely presented (photos) and a pleasure for our taste buds. Service was efficient as always. Will return again (and again).

Although not locals, Jackie Rey's was recommended by friends and were they ever right. Do not miss this special place with great food and great service. Their fresh fish is wonderful. The service is friendly, prompt and attentive. The drinks are varied and well prepared....More

This was a great place to stop and have lunch. The food was reasonably priced and the service was excellent, the server had no issues answering all of my questions. If I had to complain about any one thing it would be the parking wasn't...More

Really liked the atmosphere and the service was great. Why mixed emotions? My wife's food (the fish special and the passion fruit cheesecake) was excellent. My food (Mushroom Bowl) was bland and despite it containing a reasonable quantity of wild mushrooms it didn't taste of...More

Jackie Rey's has become a favorite place for happy hour for us lately. The location and parking are great. The crispy ribs are totally outstanding, meaty, with a great Hawaiian sauce, highly recommended. The platings are absolutely beautiful. Today we went there for their home-made...More

Dropped into Jackie Rey's as a last minute decision. Service was both quick and courteous. Main meal was great and really couldn't be faulted, an excellent steak. Appetiser was OK but not brilliant, nicely grilled prawns but accompanying sauce was like store bought tomato sauce....More

My husband wanted steak and potatoes and I felt like something lighter like the Med salad and we both got what we wanted. My Mediterranean plate was fresh, taste and filling. His steak was big and was on a potatoes cake. He was happy too.

I loved my food, I had pork spring rolls for an appetizer and The ribs for dinner. I really liked those. My dad, however, choose the daily fish special. One of the pieces he loved, the other looked gray and tasted funny. When he told...More

From the Lilikoi Martinis to the fabulous entrees, our dinner at Jackie Rey's was one of the best meals we had in Kailua. Away from the more touristy Alii Drive section of Kailua Kona, this open air restaurant seemed to be filled with a majority...More

Your question has been answered but I would also advise you to rent a car. The island is large and so beautiful that you need to explore it. I love the small towns in the high country. The ride from you hotel is nice and the... More

Jackie Rey's Ohana Grill is a casual local's joint featuring fresh seafood, steaks, pasta and a variety of salads at affordable prices.

The restaurant (named after our daughter) is the culmination of much hard work and the dedication of ourselves and our crew. We invite you to be our guests and experience great food and old fashioned hospitality, island style.
