Hotel Hubertus was the first hotel in Austria in which we truly enjoyd the dinner included in the package deal we had chosen: We felt being treated like valued restaurant guests contrary to previous experience. My wife enjoyd also the sauna facilities in the hotel....Our room in the hotel was pleasant and clean, but there was no room for hanging skiing clothes to dry after an active day in the slopes. The hotel is situated in the main street. There is no, however, a true ski lift on the opposite side of the street, as claimed in some descriptions: The ”ski lift” on the opposite side of the street is a lift that only takes you up the hill just enough to be able to ski down to the Gaislachkogl ski lift, which is the one that takes you up the mountain. We did not find skiing back down in a slushy slope an slope attractive alternative. Instead, we rather left our skis in ski depot services available in sport stores next to the Gaislachkogl ski lift or the top station of the Giggijoch ski lift.More
