After long walk with local guide Peter we stop at Rübezahl alm. We got free of charge local speciality Kaiserschmarn. It was delicoious and a place is fantastic. Outside view is really fantastic. Those who watch Mountain doctor they know that main actor married there.

We live in Ellmau and visot Ruebezahö several times a year. Always friendly service, good food and fair priced. So we enjoy it every time, even more in summeg, than in winter, but we avoid celibrity parties

great terrace in summer and winter, friendly and fast service, family run, sometimes a little too busy with clebrities, but if one can avoid it, it´s really nice. Good in summer to rest after a mountain walk, great in winter to breakl a ski day

I've been here before. I gave it five stars before. I'll be coming here again. It's probably my favourite mountain restaurant in an area that has lots of nice mountain huts. Espresso and Hagebuttentee. Rosehip to you. Not the best espresso, but this is Austria,...More

a great place to stop for a warming gluwein. Prices for coffee more than in the valley, but that's to be expected in a ski resort

This place is quite big and can be a bit crowded. The food ranges from good (cordon bleu) to below the comparators (Kaiserschmarren). The prices are high for what is offered. On the plus site is the location and the huge playground for the kids.

Destination in our navigation we wound our way up the mountain to be stopped by some guy with a home made stop sign demanding 4 euros toll. He had a couple English phrases but he sounded and looked like someone from a parody about Austrian...More

I wasn't looking for vegan options I'm afraid, so they may be able to help. But I have to tell you that the Austria in general is not a good destination for vegans. Or even vegetarians. May I suggest Turkey?
