I'm ok with a long wait, so that part was a non issue. Our waitress pushed the Buffett really hard and then another gentleman came to the table and proceeded to push the Buffett. Both telling us the wait will be very very very long...More

This was a block from our condo, what a gem this place is! The food was the best we had in NOLA. They are not open for dinner,, but don't let that stop you. They have home cooked breakfast, brunch, lunch food that is amazing!...More

Fried chicken so good that we’ll definitely go back! Perfectly cooked, crisped skin, yet not too greasy. Wish I would’ve had the gumbo as they’re known for that as well, yet had stuffed myself on a second thigh, mac-n-cheese, and bread pudding (mmmm!).

Made the trip to Lil Dizzy based on recommendation. The place was packed. Food was okay, but nothing special. The dining experience was husthe bustle....not what I wanted for a vacation memory. I can get chicken served from a steam table at home. Done this...More

I've been to Lil Dizzy's a few times and the chicken is always delicious, the tea is always sweet, the waiters are always friendly, the french toast is always just right and my belly is always full.

The food here was good. The selection for the brunch was a bit limited considering the 17.99 price tag. The restaurant is also very cramped. Getting in and out with a full house is a bit tedious and maze like.

That sound? That flavor? That certain je ne sais quoi
that lets you known you’re in “Nawlins” and nowhere
else? It’s all good and in broad abundance on the
streets of Tremé, where so much of what’s considered
to be the very best of New Orleans culture and
tradition is, put simply, just how people go about
their daily lives in this historic part of town. As
one of America’s oldest African-American neighborhoods
