Stopped here as it looked quite nice from the outside.... mistake! The service was awful, the inside is worn down, the toilets are less than basic. The food wasn't up to much at all. The only good thing about it was being able to sit...More

Sorry you didn't get the great Chartres House experience that we strive to deliver to every guest. We are located in a building that is over 200 years old. While some people love the character of our building, we understand that it's not for everybody.

The staff at the Chartres House took such great care of us. When we ordered the wrong item, they replaced it, no questions asked. We'd recommend the balcony view and for anyone with a furbaby, it's great to know the restaurant is pet-friendly!

Went here for lunch on way to beach. Food was excellent and service was very attentive. They allow pets and we had a cat in a stroller. I had blackened red fish. Really good flavor.

Family of 5 stopped in for dinner. Can't complain about the food or the price, on the whole it was a decent meal. Service could be better, they did what was required but nothing more.

I don't think so. We went the evening we arrived and just walked right in. If you had a large party it might be different.
