We decided to eat here instead of Jackson Brewery due to limited menu at JB. Great choice my husband had shrimp creole, my son had alligator stew and I had quesadillas. The food was awesome and the service great. I left a bag with souvenirs there and came back an hour later and they had it for me! Would definitely... More

The menu is pretty much typical cajun fare except for the char-grilled oysters that were roasted in garlic with a parmesan topping. These oysters were spicy, tasty and just plain delicious. Paired with an ice cold draft and it made the perfect lunch.Service was very friendly and helpful plus the location right off Jackson Square is a good place to... More

First of all we had drinks and Oysters at the bar. No dining experience. The Bartender was fantastic. We had our two granddaughters with us and he went out of his way to make sure they had a good time. We ordered a plate of Grilled Oysters along with some specialty drinks. Everything was great and the service was better.

I had a traditional Muffuletta sitting at the bar. It was amazing. I could only eat 3/4 and took the rest back and had it for breakfast the next day! Even more delicious!

We stumbled on this place while wandering around Jackson Square looking for a place for our group of 6 to grab lunch. This place had tons of tables open, so we grabbed one. Probably my biggest problem with this place was how slow the service was. Our waitress, while very sweet, was just incredibly slow--she'd take your glass to refill... More

The food was so so... The waiter was very nice,,,however, I ordered oysters and he forgot to bring them, so they came with the meal. They were good. Not as good as Acme , Wife had an Alfredo dish which she said was not good and I had blackened ribs which were not good either,,Maybe we chose bad entrees, but... More

This the worst place we have been while on vacation in new orleans. The staff look bored sullen and inattentive. If you have the temerity to ask for a menu then it is thrown on table with a disgusted look by female member of staff. The food isn't much better. Save your money and your view of southern hospitality.

Went here because it was late and we needed food. The waitress was obnoxious and rude. The food came out sporadically at best. Husband was done with his main course before my food was served. After my main course was served his side came out. I was never asked if I wanted a drink, and when I tried to ask... More

Great food, fast and happy service, drinks were fantastic. We sat by an open window so we still felt like part of the action while eating.

Great location on the edge of Jackson Square but they do have the usual Cajun type food. Kinda pricey but decent

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
