Even though hunger adds to the flavor, our stop at Café Beignet was well worth a long walk for breakfast. I was starved and wanted to go somewhere much closer to the Moxy. But my wife insisted on making journey. The food was made on...More

We were enjoying beignets in NOLA and walked by Cafe Beignet. Saw and crowd and said let's give it a shot. We really enjoyed them. Easy, and casual place with a larger menu for mostly breakfast/lunch items it seemed. The beignets were delicious, hard to...More

Stopped in to grab a coffee and a pastry - not a beignet, because I was wearing black and going to a conference. The pastries in the case looked great but they weren't. So disappointing. I tried a scone - dry as a bone -...More

Wow! We heard them from a block away playing amazing music in the courtyard. Walked up and ordered our beignets and chicory coffee. Sat and waited for our beignets and took in the tubes sitting in the sun and letting everything soak in. Fresh beignets...More

Most any beignet is delicious. These are lighter and crisper than other places I’ve tried. Breakfasts are usually excellent but today had Cajun hash browns and was disappointed. Potatoes tasted like day old and were dry and tasteless. Andouille sausage was good. Will stick to...More

Always busy because of the wonderful beignets. Have one of your party grab a table while the other/s stand in line to order food & drinks. But make sure to get the beignets. Our party had the breakfast sandwich(very tasty) and the andouille omelet. Both...More

At this restaurant there are two places to sit, inside at several cafe tables or outside in the courtyard, which can become crowded. You stand in line to order and then a waiter will come to your table with your food. Not only do they...More

Each of our locations are different, but each one has some outdoor seating, and a beautiful day in New Orleans is meant to enjoy music, food and people watching. Thank you for visiting us.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

Café Beignet is known for their made-to-order Beignets, a puffy pillow of fried dough dusted with powdered sugar, and café au lait. But there is so much more! Coffees both hot and cold range from simple to flavored, a pastry counter is filled with sweet delights, and hot foods for both breakfast, lunch, dinner and sandwiches can be ordered at the counter. A sister establishment is a courtyard on Bourbon Street with live music all day.
