We visited Felix's and the visit started off great because we were in line and then seated pretty much immediately by a nice friendly lady. After that, it all went downhill. The waitress was in a crappy mood from the start. If you don't want...More

We were going to go across the street but were told this is a good place to get char-grilled oysters. The food was great! Oysters were spot on. The only complaint I have is just because you get a set, booth, table doesnt mean you are getting...More

Chargrilled Oysters were small and burnt, Shrimp and Grits was HORRIBLE, service was subpar. They did not measure up to others in the area.

The blackened alligator was the best dish. it cam with sauce but it tasted so good with out it. Although a little too salty and extremely small portion, l would definitely order it again.

Juan G was a super nice, educated and prompt bartender. The chargrilled oysters are amazing. We had a Sazerac, bloody Mary’s and Pimms. All excellent for the first stop.

Over the years we always had enjoyed hitting Felix's for a meal, and always included their grilled oysters as a starter. Since their expansion, however, there has been a bit of a decline in quality and a noticeable lessening of good service. While not privy...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title

touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
