Very nice Italian menu, great staff with great service. Large restaurant but I would recommend making a reservation due to the number of people who use the area.

I've eaten here a number of times and was so excited to take 7 people from Denver to this local gem. What a letdown. I'm not sure if this is under new management but things have certainly changed . First - their wonderful oyster appetizers...More

We ate at Tommy's twice in the week we were in New Orleans. The first time was because it was convenient to our niece's hotel and offered food to her liking. That was a good choice. Our server, Clarisse, was superb. Our second visit was...More

We had a great meal, efficiently and capably served, with consideration for our food allergies. Go see for yourself.

This was once a fantastic local New Orleans restaurant with a big varied menu. Now sadly it seems to have been taken over by a corporate entity or just someone really unimaginative. The quality of the food has declined and the menu has been drastically...More

The more we travel, the more we notice that for us, it is about the food, AND how relaxing the environment is. Tommy's has both. We were so warmly welcomed, worried about our casual dress and assured we were perfect! Although it seemed formal, we...More

Great seats by the street window. We both had side cars for drinks, have not seen that on a drink menu in a while. - We shared a Tommy's Oyster, she had the Fish Capri, I had the Osso Buco . She finished with the...More

An Italian Cajun restaurant? Who would have thought? We had 8 of us and we got a nice large, round table and a tremendous waiter. Lots of choices--some pure cajun-NOLA and some with an Italian twist. Good wine list with reasonable good value bottles available....More

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title

offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
