This is typically not my favorite kind of restaurant, It's located in a hotel, on Bourbon Street, with generic/corporate type atmosphere. However, the food keeps us coming back again and again. The BBQ oysters are incredible as is the seafood gumbo (it may be the...More

The best place to eat on Bourbon Street. Friday night was very crowded but our server was excellent. We have BBQ oysters and Gumbo. Delicious. Southern touches on food and drinks. Highly recommend.

First time I had red fish and it was absolutely delicious. Not sure how they prepared it except for grilling, but it didn't need anything on it. No salt or pepper or any type of sauce. Great if you are on a diet.

Actually our second time at this restaurant, after visiting on a previous trip to New Orleans. Good local dishes, and casual atmosphere. Perhaps slightly overpriced for what it is (probably justified by location), but would go back.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title

little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD

touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Description
Ralph Brennan's award winning casual New Orleans seafood restaurant and oyster bar on Bourbon Street. (Voted seafood restaurant 4 years, best oyster po-boy 2010 & 2011). Don't miss Red Fish Grill restaurant's heavenly BBQ Oysters, signature Alligator Sausage & Seafood Gumbo, Grilled Redfish and Double Chocolate Bread Pudding. Casual and fun (a sea of metal fish in neon swim overhead bright, hand painted tables). Open for lunch and dinner 7 days with a lively cocktail and oyster bar going from 11 AM - 11 PM, the perfect place to ease into New Orleans' laid back French Quarter lifestyle or tell it goodbye until next time.
