Traveling with a person that grew up in NOLA is great! Usually there is no touristy place and only local joints. This place is in the Quarter, well known and great! Their beans and rice are SO good!

Just kinda bland food with dudes doing shots at lunch. Cheap daiquiris and overpriced entrees. Nothing special.

The restaurant does not take reservations. I do not remember if it is open. Probably not. But many other restaurants are open. Try Palace Cafe.
