This place is where locals go for best Po Boys in New Orleans. Had shrimp sandwich and a little spicy but good. Turkey was my family favorite. Long lines and few tables so prepare to wait if you go here. Bar is crowded and noisy. Sometimes during the week you will see legendary jazz players pull up and meet to... More

Parkway has such a mom and pop feel. The catfish and shrimp mixed po'boy is my favorite. The mixture of both is delicious. For me, the regular size is just enough especially with fries. But if you get the larger version, you won't be disappointed! The rum cake is also a plus. It's delicious. The people and service are nice.... More

We had a long table in the covered patio all to ourselves. The line wrapped around the block starting about an hour before it opened at 11:00 am, but it moved quickly after that. About 15 minutes before they opened, a cook greeted the crowd from a porch outside the kitchen door and told them they would have a hundred... More

Took us a while to find our way here - get to know the streetcar process and it's a piece of cake; we had the shrimp po boy and a cup of gumbo - was better than we expected and worth all the wait - line was out the door and down the street as we were leaving -- no... More

All around so good especially the Po' Boy from Turkey and also Roast Beef. The Gambo was the best stew that I tried in my life. The staff was very nice and friendly!!!

Parkway is voted "Best of New Orleans" for Po Boys again and again and for good reason. Whether shrimp, catfish, or roast beef their sandwiches are outstanding. The ambiance is authentic New Orleans as are the Barq's long necks ! Visitors to the city can take the streetcar out to City Park for a day of fun then walk down... More

On a football night there was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and service was fairly fast. Good sandwiches is the specialty and my fried catfish sandwich was fine.

Parkway Bakery is an integral part of NOLA culture with it's sandwiches dating back almost 100 years. The history of its birth and rebirths is written on the menu. You can have virtually anything in your sandwich - roast beef, shrimp, grilled chicken, Louisiana hot sausage, etc. It was the latter two that my partner and I had and we polished... This was on the list of places to try but on that particular day we ended up there. Good thing too. We somehow managed to get there just ahead of the crowd at around 5:00pm on a Wednesday. The actual building is small with some indoor dinning areas but just outside is a great covered porch and tables in what... More

My wife and I got there right when they opened and were some of the first people in line. Our food was cold, had no taste to it, and was just plain nasty. When the server came around and asked us how was I meal my wife told him and instead of trying to fix the problem we were told,... More
