We always go here for grilled oysters and as usual they were very good. The rest of the food was good as well as the service was good. About what you would expect from a chain restaurant.

Every time I go to New Orleans I stop at Acme for Oysters, onion rings, gumbo and a beer. This time it was just as good, if not better. Will keep eating there in future trips.

Didn't live up to the hype. Red beans was plain. Seafood gumbo didn't really have any taste. Bland. Only thing that stood out was the boo fries.

Yes, Acme has become such a tourist attraction but the grilled oysters are so worth the wait. In my opinion, the prices are fairly reasonable also

We actually went to this place two times. By going early 5:30-6pm you can spend less time in line. First time we ordered fried oysters and were pretty disappointed as there was little oyster and a lot of breading. Actually nearly everything we chose came...More

Great Chargrilled Oysters, good gumbo and Jumbalaya. This place has a laid back fun atmosphere with good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Worth a try!

One of my favorite restaurants in #NOLA was #Acme in the #FrenchQuarter!!! 💓I'm still dreaming about the #fresh fried crab legs appetizer, #fresh fried fish, fried shrimp, hush puppies, fries and crab cake platter!!! 😍Our waitress was on point the entire time! She was able...More

Of course I couldn't come to New Orleans without try both acme and flexis oysters. I ordered both charbroiled and raw oysters and it kinda sucks but not really that you aren't allowed to order less than a dozen. So of course I had to...More

Sit at a table or at the raw bar and experience fresh seafood at its best. At the bar you will get the treatment from the shukers but don't be insulted as it is all in good fun. Raw, grilled or fried oysters and clams...More

It's that first dozen of oysters at the Acme Oyster House that lets you know you are back in New Orleans. This place has been around a while and if you frequent New Orleans enough.....you know it's been better and it's been worse. But today,...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

I don't think they take reservations. You would have to call and ask. Sorry.

Yes, you can bring children. I honestly didn't see a children's menu. However, the restaurant was clean, the wait staff friendly, and accommodating. When my daughter was small , we often shared a plate when a child's plate... More
