I've been coming to NOLA for 23 years, typically twice a year, and this is my first time to eat at Cafe Adelaide. Hostess: Walking in Brittany is very welcoming and she has a good sense of humor. Server: Dereck is sweet but I waited...More

The bartender and barmaid were not very friendly. I felt like I was inconveniencing them when asking for service. I even asked one of them if there was a problem because he appeared to have gotten upset when I ordered a drink and didn't start...More

Decided to stay in for a business dinner at Loew's on a rainy evening which was a big mistake. While the hotel is lovely with good service and the bar is also good, the restaurant is an exception. There were only a few tables occupied...More

I ate breakfast and lunch here, and recommend it highly. The servers were invariably attentive and friendly, and the food was well prepared. The coffee was especially good at breakfast, and they had a gluten free muffin at breakfast each done. The grits were creamy,...More

A large traveling group and I had dinner at Cafe Adelaide, and enjoyed the best meal of our whole trip. Not only was the food cooked to perfection, but the service was the best I believe I have ever experienced.

We stopped here midweek for the 25 cent martini lunch. Our table had the appletini and the classic martini both of which were good. The turtle soup with sherry was excellent.

Three business colleagues and I had lunch at a Cafe Adelaide (which is about one-half a mile from the Hyatt Convention Center). The starters and mains were gorgeous and delicious. One person ordered the fixed price two course meal, but everyone else ordered off the...More

Our server was fantastic! Such a nice young man....and gave us great menu tips. Food? Exceptional. Cocktails? Best in NOLA. Ambiance? Comfortable and chic. I have nothing but positive things to say of this establishment.

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title

little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

We are considering the Adelaide Café for a rehearsal dinner for 70 in September 2017. Would you recommend this for out of town guests and well as locals?

It may not work as there is no private area in the actual restaurant, but there are other beautiful areas there.

Can you accommodate my gluten and dairy sensitivities? I'm not celiac but cannot eat gluten or dairy due to other chronic health conditions.

When we dined there, we were in the main dining room and I don't recall that noise was an issue.
