We got a recommendation for Adolfo's, a second-floor walkup on Frenchmen Street, from our hostel desk. It was low-key, geared toward seafood - one could smother lamb or steak in seafood sauce - and not too expensive for New Orleans. We would return.

The owner of Spirits on Bourbon told us about this neat little Italian restaurant so we wandered up Decatur, crossed Esplanade and walked up Frenchmen St. checking out the music in the different clubs. Adolfo's is next door to the Spotted Cat, which I will...More

My husband and I usually utilize TripAdvisor when in a different town, but this time we trusted locals. Thank you, thank you to the young man who said, "If tomorrow is your last night in New Orleans, then you MUST eat at Aldolfo's". It's one...More

I would call. It's a small kitchen, so they may offer no carb foods but if you have celiac you need to watch the cross contamination of gluten.
