Cool local bar right off Bourbon Street in NOLA! One of two bars known for frozen Irish coffee. Get the large!

After a TERRIBLE experience trying to get out of the crowds at another establishment we ran across Molly's. We are so very happy we did! The bartender was incredibly welcoming and accommodating to our four legged companion. I can't recommend this place enough!

In true New Orleans fashion, get a boozy coffee from Molly's! It's best to get the coffee and walk around the French market.

If you like frozen drinks, try the iced Irish coffee. Otherwise, grab a beer or a whiskey and take this place in. It's an old, charming bar right on a main strip. Spend some time people watching and see if you can spot the urn of ashes over the cash register. Molly's is a must on your visit to New... More

A great Irish pub where you can get a decent drink served by great staff. Good juke box and plenty of good hospitality.

Stopped in for a pint and was delightfully surprised. Fun place and great service. Right off Bourbon Street. Seemed like a place locals and tourist frequent.

We were here late on a Wednesday night and it was our last stop of our off Bourbon street bar hopping adventure. The bartender was also our bartender from Toulouse Dive Bar the previous night. She remembered I take lime with my beer which I thought was impressive considering how many people she must see. The place was dead but... More

If there was ever a "home away from home", Molly's is it. Great people, great place, and the sign by the door says it all: "Molly's Irish Pub: Have a Pint, Stay Forever".

Took my wife there 40 years ago when we were just dating and we have been going back ever since. She likes the Pina Colata's. I like the Irish Coffee and that is still what we go for to this day. It is a hard Bar to pass up when walking the Quarter. Not always the over rowdy crowded bar... More

wonderful experience. We have a friend named Molly, so we had to get a "to go" cup here. Very nice. Bartender gave us a little history of the bar. Looked like a great place to relax

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
