Stopped here on our first night in the city for a quick bite because it was close to our hotel. Sat and the bar and had very good service. Had the buffalo chicken sandwich and pulled pork nachos, both were excellent. Kind of surprising as this place looked a little rough, but we like rough, "divey" places so we enjoyed... More

The steak special and the pizza fries are amazing! We love the late night bartender who wears all of the neat hats. This place is conveniently open 24 hours a day and serves food the entire time!!

We had a group of ten guys and we saw that this place had good reviews, but don't be fooled. My appetizer AND my entree were both wrong and they just took them back and didn't even try to replace them for me not to mention it took two hours! The waiters all looked like they hated their job and... More

My husband and I stopped in to have a couple of late afternoon drinks before meeting friends for the Bourbon St scene. I like to sit at the bar in a quiet place where I can people watch. Bartender was very friendly. Several TV screens were playing football games.

I ate here for a quick dinner one evening while visiting New Orleans. The portions were substantial, the food was excellent and the price was very fair. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and the sweet potato fries. Our server was very nice and even offered some other great dining tips for visitors to New Orleans. The evening I ate... More

Stopped here for lunch because it wasn't crowded and they advertised a pizza and beer special. It's a laid-back pub with beamed ceilings, lots of beers on tap, a full kitchen and a courtyard out back. There are at least 25 beers on tap at all times, many of them locally brewed. The Bloody Mary's are great and the drinks... More

Found this place by accident. Over the past 15 yrs I have stopped by for the steak and a adult beverage on several occasions. Last year ran into a very rude bartender we finished our drinks, did not order lunch and left. In the past burgers and steak have been excellent. Will try again this year when in town. Crossing... Several of us were lucky to pick this place to visit; when it started raining! There were a few tourists; but mostly everybody there lives in NOLA. I had recently eaten; so I didn't order any of the appetizing smelling, & looking good, food! They have a big variety of local brew, for very cheap! I ordered the strawberry, which... More

This place had got good reviews on TA, so we decided to go here after a trip down Bourbon Street for a second, late night, dinner. We ordered a small chicken bbq pizza, as they pride themselves in being the pizza kings of New Orleans, and a burger with a side of sweet potato fries. The pizza was described to... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
