Loved this place. Had a great Monday special of rice and beans with sausage. Very tasty. The other dishes looked very good too. Much of the food is breakfast or brunch food - and there's a great variety. Friendly service. It's a neighborhood place yet...More

Reasonable prices, good food, quick service, not hard to get a seat or a coffee refill. Well off the beaten path in the middle of a quiet neighborhood.

In New Orleans for 2 weeks, our airbnb host recommended this local spot. The crab cake benedict came HIGHLY recommended, and my boyfriend loved it! I got an omelet, which was fantastic, and the coffee and service was great as well! Definitely coming back!

I had a really good veggie omelette this morning. I was prepared for the same old run of the mill omelette: boy was I surprised! The biscuits are great too! Give this restaurant a try!

Fun, casual place. Had the egg and pancake combo. Not a thing wrong with it, but having looked at my wife's omelet, and some of the other things coming out of the kitchen, I should have opted for something a little different, or at least...More

Great breakfast joint in a good location. Easy to park, and has outdoor seating so good when it's warm out. Food was delicious.

The good... It's a small neighborhood spot that knows its way around a breakfast menu. The food is consistently excellent. There are no annoying tourists. Parking is a breeze. You can eat and read the "Crimes Picayune" without feeling rushed. Best biscuits, except your grandmothers....More

While visiting Tulane and staying in an apartment in the neighborhood, I walked a few blocks to Riccobono for breakfast. Had an excellent omelet. Highly recommend.

Very much their own self sufficient unit within the
greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down
the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate

students living in the area ensure that Uptown and
Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly

I have to say I was shocked and disappointed to read your review. We lived in the neighborhood for 10 years and eat here at least once a week. We have never witnessed any behavior like this from any of their staff. While we are regulars, we wait in line for our turn just like everyone else and do not expect, nor have we received, preferential treatment. We usually go on Sunday mornings, and see a diverse group of customers, and no one has ever been passed up when it was their turn for a table. Have you considered possibly that the couple in front of you asked for a table in a specific area of the restaurant, or perhaps for a certain server?

I'm not quite sure how to respond to this since I have no context surrounding this episode. All I can say is sitting at the bar is first come, first served. There are four tables specifically for five or more. If a table... More
