Very nice ambiance, although the dining Room was a tad noisy at times. Service was a little slow at first but then proceeded at a nice pace. Food is well prepared with complex flavors without being jumbled together. I would describe the cuisine as modern...More

Gautreau’s is a gem. Delicious food, great service, good wine list, desserts and after-dinner drinks were all terrific. I had the veal cheeks, which were very tender, but had a very busy plate of flavors. Simpler might have been better, however the entire experience was...More

Went to Gautreau's for lunch and it was the best ever. As ever you need a coat and tie, but it is well worth it. We went upstairs for the first time and it was nice and quiet.

My wife and I went three nights ago with a couple of friends. It took forever to get our meals: maybe a 45-minute wait for the appetizers after we ordered and close to two hours for the mains. What's worse, our (rather charmless, unsmiling, uninformative)...More
